That right there is the perfect illustration of how Vaughn and Sheets have no value due to the defensive position they’re being put into.

  • Oh my goodness no.  The 2006 team would win 9 out of 10 games against this team. They won 90 games.  They had 4 players who hit 30+ home runs.  There were 7 players on that team that hit more HR

Royals play Detroit next so that's very possible for them.

  • Also shows the humidor narrative is horseshit.

Lambert hasn't been good lately at stranding runners.

2 of the 3 inherited runners score.

Seems like the bullpen has collapsed

I said this  weeks ago.  I stopped blaming players it's this shitty organization.

If I had a nickel for every shutdown inning we gave up runs I'd have enough $'s to buy this team.

Is it just me, or did it look like Pollack might have got to that? Or Sheets even, if he didn't dive 3 seconds early??

Yeesh.

There are a lot of players I’d like to see succeed…Vaughn, Jiminez, Gio, Cease, Hendricks, etc, etc.  Yet I want the team to fail because of the horrific management from the owner down.  It’s a conundrum.

If someone had said at the beginning of the season that Gavin Sheets would lead the White Sox in HR's at The Cell, I wonder how many would've thought that was a bad thing.

Vaughn is broken. Just has no clue up there anymore. Chalk up another one for Frank the Tank.

Holy crap Vaughn, come on

Abreu swinging at pitches 18 inches off the plate

Way to protect up there, Jose! good thing he didn't strikeout, huh

This is where coaching comes into play. Helping a young player out of his funk. The White Sox have no idea how to help him, or are just completely incapable of doing so.

Such a no brainer to move on from Abreu after this season. Blow it up.

They’re making KC look like the 27 Yankees!

God, this team is terrible.

We just are not a good ball club.

Diekman has been absolutely awful.  Hahn needs to go away

Jake in lockdown mode.

Sox lefties can't get lefties out.

It absolutely cracks me up that Hahn fell as backwards into some catching depth but then he had to immediately trade it for another shitty reliever.

But he’s controllable!!!

So I guess you can't blame this one on Tony

Negative synergy. Tony couldn't take any more. No Mas.
