2022 ALCS- Yankees/Astros

Featured Replies

Gm 1 tomorrow night.

Upsets are fun, but I'm glad we're getting the 2 best teams in the AL in this series.

Can the ghost of the Astrodome return to swallow both teams?

Also, go NL.

Seriously though, the Yankees are a necessary evil as I don’t really see either NL team standing much of a chance.

Well, Bieber will be fresh, at least.  Oh, wait a minute...

I'm dreading a Yankees - Phillies World Series. Ugh.. but I have to root for them over the Astros.

Are the Yankees really that good?  Their bullpen is a wreck and outside of Cole their starting pitching isn't that deep or experienced.

Stanton and Judge showed up in game 5 but I am still not sold on the Indians and think the schedule next year hurts them.

They're not. They might get Benintendi and DJM back this series though so that might help them. Their LF situation is a total disaster.

Their bullpen depth is also shot so I have a hard time seeing them winning multiple games in a row without off days in between.

Lord do I despise both of these teams.

Whatever, none of them are beating the Dodgers.

Anyone but Houston.

I would be rooting for the Cubs if they were in the playoffs if it meant Houston doesn't win.

That's about where I am.  Never thought I'd root for the Cubs over any team in my lifetime, but here we are.

Power rankings have the Stros at one and Yanx four so someone agrees.

i hate both these teams so much its just unwatchable

The Yankees have to be lesser of two evils here, right?

I'm pretty sure Houston is gonna win this series, only to lose in the WS to an NL East team that got hot at the right time cause they've done that twice now in the past 3 years.

Wow this is accurate, Nationals, Braves, and potential Phillies.  That's kind of crazy.

Hey wait a minute that sounds like another team we know.

Sure does help when one of their player has more home runs than our entire infield!

Break up the Astros!

Agreed. I watched the afternoon Phillies Padres game on Wednesday and then was just done with baseball for the day.

I'll take it.

Lord have mercy never thought there would be a team that would make me root for the Yankees. If Houston makes it to the WS, I'm seriously thinking about not even watching it.
