Great series, way to show how the offensive approach has changed!

I don’t see any improvement in team with risp this series……minus Frank as hitting coach

I see Andrus being DFAd before the ASB

How can a team be so frustrating so quickly

Sample size pretty small at this point with plenty of positive signs. Offensive execution has been putrid, but get the W today which is very much in play and a split in houston is a pretty strong outcome.

I know it's been tough, but this team does play harder than last season. I think things will be better soon.

IIRC, the Astros' pitching had the highest strand rate in baseball last year. Some of the RISP trouble is "White Sox being White Sox" but I'd suggest a good portion of it is also "Astros being Astros." They do this to everyone.

Clevy is good

And it’s not just bad luck…most of it is self-inflicted by horrible approaches and terrible situational hitting.

Agreed, he’s pretty horrible. Definite flash in the pan last season it was stupid pretending it was anything else

We were blinded by how well he played for us last season.

By having a very similar roster as the previous year

Cy Clevinger???

should be a hit

Well they paid him accordingly. Having Elvis around shouldn’t preclude the Sox from trying their other options. They have several tbh.

Squandered chances to score. Embarrassing

When you say it, you know it's bad lol.

Don’t worry guys it’s the cold weather!

So again outhitting the Astros but if it once again comes down to the pens without a lead ( which probably should be 2or 3-0 by now) it's going to be bad.

I was more of a Romy/Lenyn guy before the season, but I think this may be a bit premature. Bregman is hitting .000, and I think teams would take him.

just get top prospects, and roll the dice. they'll eventually hit on some guys

Aside from Cease & I guess Robert though, who else could they get top prospects for?

Jason Jason Jason......

I don't understand people expecting Colas to perform like anything but a rookie.

Robert is a bust.

A donger!
