They will need to go 35-38 the rest of the way to have 90 losses.

Seeing as how they are probably going to be 10+ out approaching the deadline, I would assume they will be trading away players. 90 losses should be a lock.

25-48 would then get them to 100 losses, which seems hard to believe even if they do trade away some players. I don't think we will see 100 losses. Unless of course they go full blown sell off and trade guys like Cease or Robert, but I don't see it.

If they were to sell Giolito, Lynn, & Clevinger (plus other things) they’ll probably lose 100 games.  The pitching depth is atrocious.

Lol the Sox are 3.5 GB. It’s two weeks of games. They’ll probably be 2 GB after the Twins get their ass kicked in NY this weekend like they always do. It’s been a terrible start, but to insinuate this season is anything close to a lost season at this point is an absolute joke.

Yep. Most Sox fans always looking for the nearest bridge. The team has given us plenty of reasons to be skeptical over the last couple years, but each season is its own animal. Just because 2022 was dumpster fire under TLR and the first 13 games look very similar in some ways, does not mean the next 149 games will be. The next couple weeks are going to be tough, but the May and June schedule are pretty soft. Do need the Sox to be healthy during that stretch.

Including Johnny Cueto, a minor league signing that was not even on the OD roster and no one expected anything from in that number is somewhat disingenuous. He was definitely a positive in 22, but plenty went wrong last season. If Yoan, TA, Eloy and Robert collectively miss around half the season again, I don’t like the Sox chances of being much more than a .500 squad. I don’t think anyone else would feel differently. Poor start on the injury front so far, but everything is fairly minor and I’ll still take the over on GP for that group compared to 2022.   Eloy and Yoan should both be back tomorrow, if not, shortly thereafter.

This did not age well.

We've been waiting for them to really turn things around, and they haven't done it. 90 or more losses now seems very possible. So much for the rebuild. Nice effort in Atlanta, but this team really isn't very talented. Most disappointing season I have experienced as a fan. It's been a while since this club has been at such a low point.

Not just possible … I would take it to the bank.  No way they play over .500 the next 65 games.

Zero chance of it if Giolito and some of the bullpen arms are traded.

I didn't think 100 losses was achievable even with trades but 22-43 doesn't seem out of reach depending on who is still on this team in 2 weeks.

I created this thread and good thing I did take it to the sportsbook back in early April 😁  90 plus losses and no playoffs for the Sox is a lock. Easiest $$$ I made all year.

I thought they would have avoided 100 losses because of 12 against Det and KC. Then they went 3-9.

Now I want 61-101. But tomorrow might get canceled. 61-100 would be good. Make these clowns wear it.

Do you think any of them really care? They still get to cash their paychecks whether they win 100 games or lose 100 games.

The players don’t care, but I want Grifol and the coaches, and the organization as a whole, to have that 100 loss figure there forever.

This season is on the brink of spiraling out of control fast. There is a very real chance that this team is 10 games under 500 come May 1st.  We heard the dont panic cause it is early in the season refrain all last year. We will hear it again now.  How many times till we don't get fooled again?

Yr a visionary no doubt, good call esp just a few games into the season

Do you give stock tips? :)

I don’t think they can go 7-7 the rest of the way.  No way.

I did not bet on 100 losses. It takes a rare form of suck to lose 100 plus games. Didn't think Sox would be that level of suck considering the division they play in.

Ha. A visionary I am not. However, I work with failing comapnies all the time and saw so many similarities between some of the comapnies I've worked with and the White Sox. I could tell from the first week in that Pedro was in way way over his head. Also, Rick Hahn was still around back then talking his lawyer mumbo jumbo while guys like Oscar Colas were playing every day when they weren't close to ready and cooked veterans like Andrus and Grandal were still on the roster. I sincerely hope that some organization is dumb enoough to give Rick Hahn another GM job. The odds of that are extremely low , but I will be fading that club so hard with big $$$ if that clown is able to bamboozle his way into another GM job.

Yes he is.  He got a lot of snark from people too.

Snark is to be expected. Nobody wanted to hear the truth. This organization is screwed six ways from Sunday and it has been apparent to some of us for quite some time.
