5/22 White Sox @ Guardians. First pitch at 5:10. Lambert vs. Gaddis

Grif, like most managers, plays the percentages by bringing in Santos. The problem is our relief crew often times finds it necessary to give up a homer to the first hitter they face. Same old story

Vaughn is a DH that hits for a 700 OPS. We sure are good at finding those guys.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

These guys must have done 0 prep for this game

Better wake up, we’re not playing the Royals anymore

They should throw it in the burning river.

It’s the lake that caught fire around there .

What a bunch pathetic hitters, they have no fucking clue.

Sox sweep KC and Cleveland got swept would not know it by the Sox energy tonight!

Back in the 60s, it was the river.

Hey, TA is leading off again. Glad we learned from past failures.

Tim batting first has been pretty successful or have you forgotten? So he is slumping he can turn it around

lol a 186 BA with a 182 OBP. Must have gotten thrown out trying to stretch a single into a double, no?

Sac fly would do it.

Now Santos gets multi-innings of garbage time. Crochet, the guy who wants to be a starter, gets .2 of an inning, high-leverage, every time out coming back from TJS. This organization is absolutely pathetic.

Been slumping for almost a full year

I truly don’t think they believe Crochet can be a starter.  It makes the draft pick even more infuriating.

Grandal responsible for all 3 runs, imho. Tried to backhand a pitch that even a below average catcher shifts and blocks easily. Then, after Zinino is woefully late on 2 fastballs, he calls nothing but breaking stuff until the count goes full.  Then surprise, he hits the sinker for a home run. This stiff can't end his Sox career soon enough for me. Wasted 5 years and almost $70 million. Yeesh.

No. It was the river.

Well that's what we get for getting slightly excited after sweeping a putrid KC team. We are also a putrid team.

Exactly. They punted the entire 2020 draft for a reliever and Kelley, who will be lucky to be a reliever in the bigs. With his control/command issues, he's close to joining Dalquist on the scrap heap.

Good job guys. You guys had no Fucking plan against a suck ass pitcher

That draft looked amazing on paper. Then reality set in that if the Sox are high on a guy in the draft he probably sucks.

Just when you think they’ve turnd their season around…..clunk!

This will be twice now that Stone and Benetti run their mouths about Clase blowing saves and struggling recently and he comes in and blows these guys away.

3 hits, 2 of which were singles, the entire game, against a guy with no business being able to shut a team down.

So, after drubbing a terrible KC team, it is back to SSDD.

Over managing does not work all the time.  Santos is not one of our better relievers.

Absolutely no reason to take Crochet out.

The offense went dead against Minor leaguer Giddis.  Did not work any counts either.
