It's okay, I get my sense of humor from them. My dad was a Dodger fan but is one of the reasons I'm a Sox fan, as he drafted some young slugger for a fantasy team in the mid 90s named Frank Thomas. My mom never had a favorite team but always thought George Brett was cute, and loved watching the Sox with me (and loved Jermaine Dye). Also taught me how to keep a scorebook.  They're part of the reason I love baseball and the reason I hate this team. They weren't obsessive, but certainly the reason I give a s%*#.

 

I consider them a reason I love the Sox and why I hate the Sox. I miss them, but they'd watch the good games and the crap games with me.

 

Also, Luis is good despite so many flaws.
