Absolutely awful job by this organization to get things to this state

I have a feeling that as much as the roster gets beat up, rightfully so, the organization can’t put them in the right situation to succeed. Because the players know the organization is a clueless joke. Im sure they have some level of pride. But they must know their abilities will be wasted here anyway in terms of applying them on the field for a winner.

  • I have a feeling last year was a Cease fluke year, and not trading him at the deadline will haunt us

  • Glad we were acting like we had Cy Young as our available pitching trade piece, and shunned offers that were probably moreso in line with what would be expected.

  • White Sox Park
    White Sox Park

Marlins came back and won that game . a lot more fun than watching the White Sox.

I'm not wearing my Sox hat for a while. I'm embarrassed

This team just keeps trying to sink to new lows. But the rebuild worked out just fine.

Is death an option?

No, but Scholtens might be.

And there are actually some folks on this board, who still question whether this team will lose 100 games.

At this point, it may 110.

Dunning threw his 79th pitch with one out in the 7th. Cease through his 79th pitch with two outs in the second.

Also,  26 scoreless...

Just passed Tigers and Nats for runs scored differential.

Rockies are really woeful.

Seems Sox will pick third or fourth.

I wouldn't doubt that the Royals pass the Sox by mid September.  This team is broken. Broken bats, broken mitts, broken arms, broken legs

Ain't no use jiving Ain't no use joking Everything is broken

What's more embarrassing is being eliminated in the worst division in baseball in April, essentially.

Right now, the Twins are just one game over .500.

Burger 2/4 with a walk as Marlins try to come back n the Phillies again in the 10th as they did in they 9th.

On there way to their third straight shutout!   This team has quit.  The next home game will have all Yankee fans in attendance!

Bellinger just stole his 14th base, Cubs up 10-5, after being down 5-2

Yea, i'm watching that game.

Yeah, put the scrubs in. Not like it matters now. Nothing chaps my ass more, than seeing Dunning just beat our ass when we face him.

One of those times where JR will argue fourth place can be termed a success if Cubs Cards Yankees Red Sox fans show up instead.

Good lord, Dunning 5.7 K/9 and he’s got 11 tonight.

This team is straight ass.

Still think Game #3/Oct 2020 in Oakland was the beginning of the end...decided not to use Cease/Dunning and then Crochet went down.

What a kick in the balls .. Dunning whooping our ass.  Typical KW Hahn clownshow

Team sucks and so cringe.  I've been very patient since 2007 but damn this reminds me of the early 90s Cubs teams going on almost 20 years now

Cease/Clevinger/Toussaint/Kopech/Scholtens

That's a starting rotation for the ages.

Maybe Cease is pissed he didn’t get traded.

Unbelievably bad and I won’t be surprised at all it Cease declines next year.  Have seen some signs of that this year and if his stuff drops off again next year like it did this year he won’t be any good.

No Shut Out tonight.....VICTORY

Dylan Covey just intentionally walked Avi Garcia to get to Jake Burger and promptly hit him with a pitch. .

What a weird world the post-failed-rebuild is going to be from now on.
