But it's dreary, windy and rainy right now.

These are the only two games remaining that I care whether they win or not this season.  Show some pride and take the Cubs down a peg or two.  Spare the rest of of from their insufferable fans being extra down the stretch…

Hate losing to the Cubs, but other than that, these games mean nothing. The Sox season ended back in April, maybe even before that.

He fooled most of the baseball world a couple years ago. Thankfully he gets exposed every day here as the fraud he is. 

 

Last year the White Sox won seven games more than the Cubs. This year, the Cubs are on a pace to win twenty more games than the Sox. Why? The Cubs made several acquisitions to improve their team in the off season. The White Sox added a very expensive singles hitter and a back end of the rotation starter. That is indicative of very different management approaches to winning.

Overestimated his own talent, did Hahn.  It's not adjusted for inflation, of course, but Ryan Sweeney, with virtually the same stats, made $8M in his whole career.  We're giving Andrew $17MX5.  If JR is as smart and thrifty as we think, how can he not be furious?

Hendricks getting shelled

Nice start today, hopefully Touki can keep the ball in the yard his final 3-4 innings.

Yoan is looking healthy the past week, James Fegan wrote about it this weekend.

Per gameday, that umpire was complete bullshit in the Colas at bat, starting with the called first strike well outside the zone. Could have blown open the game right there.
