IMO, Venable's decision to take Leisure out (throwing 97 mph) and put Eisert in was foolhardy.

Also IMO.. some of our pitchers (not Shane Smith) make too many mistakes with their change-up  and probably should not be throwing it until they improve on it and get more consistency. It should not be a pitch like a knuckle ball where a pitcher releases it and wonders where it might go.  It should not end up center cut, slow and just waiting to get wailed on.

I agree, Leisure was dealing and Veneble decided to go the safe route, huge mistake and I’m not saying this after the fact

Yeah Venable has shown very little instincts as a manager.  There’s a stunning lack of talent on the roster, but his decision making seems bad.

I still think they should have given the job to Sizemore, I’m tired of rookie managers.

1-2 technically if you count Thursday since they played and lost after the Pope was announced.

Well, .333 ball is also an improvement unfortunately

Might be an interpreter

The blonde one that's in her early 30s that has been in there for a few seasons is their physical therapist. Went to college with her, nice gal and very cool job.

Actually not, I think he did a good job last year but yeah I would have been happier with a veteran manager.

Good veteran managers cost real money. Years ago JR went on the record saying he never thought managers (or head coaches) made that much of a difference.

I guess that’s why he brought back a brain dead TLR 2022.

Congrats to Tim Elko. First hit Is a big one. Start working on a nickname my friends.

Funny coincidence, my 6th grade teachers name was Tim Elko. Made us do push ups

for getting in trouble.
