Matt 18 comes to mind, but there's one specific line where Jesus is very forceful about it, and I was thinking, like, 'whoa, Jesus, chill out'. The stuff about "being gay" is quite vague and was probably not all that important to the people at the time. Baseball might be "social conservative" compared to other sports, and so am I, but that idea of 'social conservatism' has a very toxic legacy within the sport.
