At least with the day off tomorrow, these relievers should be rested enough to get lit up again.

Well. Debated about taking off work to watch the game. Glad I didn't. But also glad Murakami did well so there's that.

As Howard Jones told us lyrically, many years ago....

"Things can only get better"

20 K's on Opening Day should really be an immediate fireable offense, in baseball land.....call it the 'they ain't ready' clause.

Glad we fired Ethan Katz

And Marcus Thames

It's shocking when a GM tells everyone that he isn't building a team to win this year, and then that team gets blown the f*** out in the first game of the season

And if anyone thinks you are being overdramatic, that was the first time in MLB history that any team has struck out 20 times on opening day.

He’s been saying that every year of his tenure, and I’m sure he will be saying it in the future as well.

Things will get better when JR is gone, Ishbia takes over and makes the changes so desperately needed on the baseball side of the operations.

Its about all I'm holding on to at this point.

I get it completely. I'm hoping to still be around when it happens and see a better future before I'm gone.

This pitching staff especially the starting rotation shouldn't impress anybody. As far as the bullpen? Considering they have blown and lost 50 games when leading in the 7th inning or later the two previous seasons, I don't think much will change this year.

There are maybe, maybe...three guys who could prove to be valuable on a good team in the entire Sox bullpen.

Welp, just gotta flush that one, eh.

Just another day and season not finishing watching the game. Some good performances and games throughout the league though.

Teel is important to this lineup. They're already mediocre at best and without him it'll be more bad than good. Tough match up today as Mis is tough on anyone. Mune hitting a bomb was a +.

We go 161-1 the rest of the way?

13th in preseason bullpen ratings

but a lot depends on Hicks and Newcomb solidifying that pen with Taylor and Seranthony,

Vasil an underrated loss.

I'm not holding my breath on either Hicks or Newcomb.

Colson with a Judge-esque Opening Day performance.

I was asking awhile back how everyone was acting like he was an all star already. Needed some brakes.
