1. Carlos Lee because of what happened early in the game with David Wells in the first inning and how Sean Lowe kept the Sox in it until they could score runs and go to extras.

2. Len Kasper is among the best in the business. So glad he’s on the radio as the voice of the White Sox. That is a home run call that I can dig as a Sox fan. Seems a lot more authentic to me as a Sox fan than “SOUTH SIDE STAAAAAANNND UP!”

The guy also had to field a team in '24. With pallid interest in Eloy and Yoan, maybe lowballs on Robert and Cease, he moved forward with what he had. I don't think we're talking to too many crypto billionaires here who gambled their house on catching an inside straight.

That said, I'm guessing the rest of the industry "knew" what the posters here already proclaimed to "know", and that's that Robert would be injured 9 games into the next season, (or whatever he was).

I’m of the mind that if you walk someone off, especially with a homer, do whatever the hell you want as long as you’re not making contact with the opponent. That’s my line in the sand. Im continuously surprised that the broadcast team is a thing to stick in anyones craw enough to overshadow such a glorious victory.
