3 hours ago3 hr Kumar Rocker is coming off a tough outing (5.2 IP, 7 ER) vs. Houston, but was pitching to a solid ~3.5 ERA until mid June. 90 innings and counting is a career high for him, so the Rangers are probably hoping the break helps him bounce back.His slider is very good and he throws it 38% of the time. It has a 40% whiff rate and just a .182 average against. Everything else (sinker/cutter/4seam/changeup) is vulnerable to getting hit pretty hard. Velo is a bit below average at ~94mph.Pretty strong splits, LHB are putting up an .857 OPS against him.TEX pen is still limited; their top 2-3 are fresh to protect a late lead, but they’ll have some tough choices to make if tied or trailing. Old friend Tyler Alexander is available, so we’ll likely see him.

Sounded like he tried to tough it out today but the smart thing is to sit. This game doesn't mean much in the grand scheme and Acuna can fill a roll hopefully.

He said he isnt worried about it and that at most it would be a day or two. He also said he was going to try and show up today and play. Its fine to let him sit a game.
