This board flipped the f*** out about trading away a AA catcher with no clear future in the org. It would’ve been Armageddon here if he’d dealt any decent assets for a SP. Getz kept the farm fully intact and picked up an arm that, for all intents and purposes, cost a shitty RP and a farmhand.

It’s not about this year. Never was about this year.

This team had one asset that I would have been upset if they traded from the minors. The rest should have been available for the right play. Detmers would have been a great fit.
