Cleveland doesn't deserve it either, don't let this series fool you. This division (and the AL West) is mega ass. Just the rules are a team has to make it.

Almost no one in the AL does. That said, watch the AL win the World Series this year.

Didn't even bother turning this game on after last night. Detroit is going to sweep these bums. Season was all smoke and mirrors. Another poorly managed, poorly coached team. Awful trade deadline made

This franchise put up literally the worst season the the 125 year history of major league baseball under Jerry Reinsdorf, and now sits dead last in MLB in revenues. Your "threat" rings hollow at best

There just is no gas left in the tank. None.

100 pct contributable to getting nothing from Castillo and Brazoban.

4 walks in an inning when you have the lead. All I can think is this is a bunch of guys who cannot handle the pressure.

Error earlier in the game didn't help either

4 walks in the inning. 💩

Walks have been killing the Sox. Killed us last night and is killing us today. Newcomb threw a meatball on 3-1 to avoid another walk, and we got the Earl Weaver special 3 run homer. Very frustrating. In hindsight, it would have been better to leave Smith in. Newcombe pitching to Ramirez was also dumb.

The Bears are good though

You probably just got Caleb hit by a bus.

Close the book. The truth be told this team ultimately turned out to be just another crappy team with a horrible manager. And the CHSN app still sucks.

All the teams in the division are 10 games or more below 500 against the rest of mlb

also all well below 500 against teams with better than 500 records

none of this should come as a shocker

So i am at work. Just looked at the box score. Was Kay struggling? 2 unearned runs and 2 his in only 66 pitches. Why did Wil take him out after only 4 innings?

Couldn't be matchups since replaced him with another lefty?

Call me crazy...but i still think they pull through on this game.

Get your head checked

that's 100% what it is, chokers in pressure situations, but the real question is, are they right handed or left handed chokers lmao

When it was 3-2 i was pretty sure this would happen. I hate being right

Gonna end up below .500

He wasn't doing bad. Honestly, he should have had a shutout but his defense killed him

Second half has been anything but fun, and our GM already severely crippled next year’s roster

If you couldn't enjoy rooting for this team because the GM didn't do enough at the deadline I think you're wildly unrealistic.

If they don't win the division, I couldn't care less if they don't make the playoffs.

Yes and no. The deadline acquisitions were meant to help, give that extra push, and as we know, they have provided absolutely nothing, have actually hurt the team.

But, Murakami being absolutely terrible, Colson turning into mostly garbage, guys that were responsible for a very positive first half have just gone to s%*# in the 2nd half, and that’s hurt probably more than anything.

I kind of get it as I feel like he gets hit harder the third time through. Felt like over-managing though. Have the bullpen up backing him up and get him through the 5th.

id rather them get blown out by the 6th inning than lose another 1 run fucking blown save loss

I honestly kinda hope they lose out. Put us out of our misery. The worst thing this team did is it gave me hope.

I couldnt enjoy rooting for this team because they've (likely) choked away the postseason and have played sub.500 since the may hot streak. How about dat

Detroit may pass them into second before it’s all over.

Castillo probably averaging 3-4 IP per start outside of that one big win

First half was amazing, second half besides walkoffs has been bad baseball

It didn't make a ton of sense besides Kay usually falling apart by the 5th. Overmanaging

So far the 6th inning has been instrumental in this series. Just not for us this time.

Doesn't trust him more than two times through the order
