7 hours ago7 hr Glad they are going with Sandlin. Him and Burke might be our 1-2 in the playoffs if he can keep this up.
5 hours ago5 hr Toronto playing Texas. Obviously someone has to win. Cleveland vs. the 2nd worst team in the league,at home. Need a win to keep pace.
5 hours ago5 hr Sandlin was really dang good his last time out. Who would've thought to begin the season he'd be starting above Schultz during a stretch run? Not to beat a dead horse, but I wish we would've just rolled with the pitchers we had in the system instead of trading for Castillo. Should've signed a real front of the rotation starter when they were aplenty this past offseason. I think Castillo could have a resurgence next season, still don't like adding the salary and subtracting Boston. Edited 5 hours ago5 hr by nrockway

5 hours ago5 hr I think if Sandlin struggles today we will see Castillo backing him up BUT hopefully DS pitches well Edited 5 hours ago5 hr by 2Deep

(Now let's allow them to be starting pitchers, please, and not try to get cute.)
4 hours ago4 hr Wonder if tomorrows game will be moved from 6 to 1 or if they’ll take their chances with a DH Sunday

3 hours ago3 hr Tonight is an important game in this series. If you win tonight then you are set up nicely to take 3 of 4 OR even sweep. On top of that we are facing a rookie who has 16 innings under his belt. We need to hit this kid around. It was great to see Mune have a good game yesterday......let's see if he can build on yesterday.

3 hours ago3 hr Don't like their chances tonight. Another pitiful offensive performance saved by a Murakami blast. Hopefully Murakami gets hot.Prove me wrong, losers.

2 hours ago2 hr KEEP IT COMING SOX!!!! I’ve really liked seeing Doyle showing signs of improvement. Would love to see him give some value here during his last few games.Lineup should be better tonight!

1 hour ago1 hr They really need Sandlin to pitch deep into this game. Or for the offense to explode. I’m assuming most, if not all the high leverage guys won’t be available tonight.

And realistic targets. Framber hasn't had a phenomenal season but he would've been a major steadying force for this shaky rotation. Then you had guys like Nick Martinez, the two you mention, a couple others. There are some decent guys in this next class -- and really good ones who the Sox won't sign -- but last year to me was a much more competitive class of SP.

Also, wanted to break up the glut of lefties I would have had at the bottom)Vargas 3BGrichuk LFMune 1BPham DH (wanted to put him 5th, but trying to break up the lefties)Peters RFDoyle CFTeel (has been drawing a lot of walks lately despite not really hitting so put him here to flip lineup over)Just put up a bunch of runs early and let's just worry about defense the last half of the game Edited 1 hour ago1 hr by Bob Sacamano
