Once again, channel it.

Let's Go White Sox

Glad they are going with Sandlin. Him and Burke might be our 1-2 in the playoffs if he can keep this up.

Man 9 games at this point feels like a full season lol.

Toronto playing Texas. Obviously someone has to win. Cleveland vs. the 2nd worst team in the league,at home. Need a win to keep pace.

Sandlin was really dang good his last time out. Who would've thought to begin the season he'd be starting above Schultz during a stretch run? Not to beat a dead horse, but I wish we would've just rolled with the pitchers we had in the system instead of trading for Castillo. Should've signed a real front of the rotation starter when they were aplenty this past offseason. I think Castillo could have a resurgence next season, still don't like adding the salary and subtracting Boston.

Who?

King or Mahle?

The majority of these pitchers signed what now look like pretty bad contracts.

Obviously, Cease has been great.

I think if Sandlin struggles today we will see Castillo backing him up BUT hopefully DS pitches well

It would be so huge to see another good effort from Sandlin to turn over our rotation, as Burke and Martin have been looking much better of late. (Now let's allow them to be starting pitchers, please, and not try to get cute.)

Wonder if tomorrows game will be moved from 6 to 1 or if they’ll take their chances with a DH Sunday

Oh boy a day night DH during a bears home game will be all kinds of “don’t drive into the city on Sunday” lol

Tonight is an important game in this series. If you win tonight then you are set up nicely to take 3 of 4 OR even sweep. On top of that we are facing a rookie who has 16 innings under his belt. We need to hit this kid around.

It was great to see Mune have a good game yesterday......let's see if he can build on yesterday.

They should just move it to earlier.

Don't like their chances tonight. Another pitiful offensive performance saved by a Murakami blast. Hopefully Murakami gets hot.

Prove me wrong, losers.

Go with (lefty on the mound):

C Teel

1B Mune

2B Ant

3B Vargas

SS Chase

LF Grichuk

CF Doyle (hit him 9th)

RF Peters

DH Pham

Acuna and Braden can enter the game later for defense.

I'll figure out how to line them up shortly haha

They turn Sears into a Willis tonight. Sox win comfortably.

KEEP IT COMING SOX!!!!

I’ve really liked seeing Doyle showing signs of improvement. Would love to see him give some value here during his last few games.

Lineup should be better tonight!

Yes - DHs are a tough assignment when you're trying to stack wins.

They really need Sandlin to pitch deep into this game. Or for the offense to explode. I’m assuming most, if not all the high leverage guys won’t be available tonight.

Framber or Ranger were the two I liked. And realistic targets. Framber hasn't had a phenomenal season but he would've been a major steadying force for this shaky rotation. Then you had guys like Nick Martinez, the two you mention, a couple others. There are some decent guys in this next class -- and really good ones who the Sox won't sign -- but last year to me was a much more competitive class of SP.

Got it.

  1. Chase SS

  2. Ant 2B (probably not a popular opinion but we just had Pham here yesterday, I think we can survive with his .340 OBP against lefties here. Also, wanted to break up the glut of lefties I would have had at the bottom)

  3. Vargas 3B

  4. Grichuk LF

  5. Mune 1B

  6. Pham DH (wanted to put him 5th, but trying to break up the lefties)

  7. Peters RF

  8. Doyle CF

  9. Teel (has been drawing a lot of walks lately despite not really hitting so put him here to flip lineup over)

Just put up a bunch of runs early and let's just worry about defense the last half of the game

I would say everyone but Taylor should be available but i prefer we stay away from Newcomb, and Hagen and get them an extra day of rest

Framber was not really a realistic target for the Sox. 3-years and $115 million? Maybe with a new owner.
