Uh ok? This team did more with basically no pitching staff, than they ever should have done.

That is true

Boys, it’s do or die time tonight. I went into the home games feeling we had this series locked down, but for many reasons we failed to take advantage of a great opportunity. Attending the two home ga

So Meidroth at SS and Antonacci at second...Colson traded?

If he continues to strike out like Yoan Moncada? Sure.

Nobody would hit Williams tonight.

Sure thing. Still doesn't explain games 3 and 4. Also swinging the bat could help.

Burke made an incredible pitch on that home run

We're really pulling Burke already?

I guess that we ignored the memo of not letting Ramirez beat us. Ramirez has been very hot the last three games. He is a Sox killer. We need someone to duplicate his feat now, and hit some balls out of the park.

Teel has been hitting 2nd for awhile. It wasnt a problem when we were 4-0 in the playoffs.

He has done nothing wrong in this game. You can be critical of the other two

Bringing in Hudson was the worst decision, but really almost every pitcher since Hudson entered besides Fedde was disappointing

That's cool. Just frustrated. That's all

Apparently not incredible enough.

There is no fucking way that swing should have resulted in a homer. f*** him.

That was a Yogi Berra swing and home run

What did you want them to do? That pitch was at his feet. Do you want them to walk him and put 2 on with nobody out?

Sucks because he was our best hitter in the playoffs.

Agreed

Make the other guys beat you then

If you start a series 2-0 and lose the next two games at home, you deserve to lose.

And yet which part is failing them the most?

Against two great pitchers.

Which unsurprisingly is what LAD and MIL also have in abundance ...

No. Think it was precautionary. Burke should pull a mad max and stay in.

Hope not. There is no tomorrow to save his arm for.

Get ready for some absolutely crazy takes the next 48 hours

Williams sat too long. Wheels are gonna come off right here.

Vargas watched a fastball down the pipe for strike three. Quit guessing and hit the ball.

When that happens you know it's not gonna go your way. Its just the way it is. I hope I'm wrong

That was a great pitch to him. What do you want them to do? Put 2 men on base with no outs?

You don't know ball then

WSox just aren’t anything special. They haven’t exactly been good the second half of the season. Way too many holes that were too much to overcome.

They were special enough to set wins and getting to playoffs after 3 consecutive 100 loss season. But unfortunately at times they revert back to that team.

Hate to say it but Ramirez just plain kicked ass on that pitch. It was a perfect pitch low and out of the zone
