Yeah, well. . . , NTSC is actually 29.97 fps, and not 30. So There!!

:D

The old-school A/V guys always joke about the quality of broadcast NTSC, and they say it stands for "Never The Same Color". :lolhitting

Where I work, we broadcast around the world, so to monitor international feeds, we have to convert PAL into NTSC. It all looks hideous anyway. The Domestic HD feed launching on 12/8 is just a pathetic upconversion.

if I would be watching on my laptop though would PAL work/

Your laptop may be NTSC.

National Lampoon's Vacation is on Bravo. Always a classic.

Shouldn't a station called AMC, American Movie Classics, play good movies, not Demolition Man?

Ninja Assassin sucked large ninja balls. The computer did all the violence in it and made it teh suck.

The Wachowski brothers never quite got back to the level that they were at with the Matrix. I enjoyed V for Vendetta, but there were still parts in that movie that pissed me off

Should it be the Wachowski siblings now?

In their defense they only produced Ninja Assassin. But seriously I could only watch like 10 minutes before I turned off Speed Racer. What the fcuk was that?

yeah, it was the same with V for Vendetta, they produced, McTeigue directed. Their fingerprints are all over it

and Speed Racer was just one big CG mess. Honestly, I am just about done with the movies that are 100 percent greenscreen. I am ready for Avatar to suck bigtime for that reason alone. I wasnt a big fan of 300 or Sin City for that reason, and SpeedRacer just gave me an ulcer.

Their fingerprints are all over it as they wrote the screenplay for v for vendetta.

I looked like they directed it too. McTeigue seems like a puppet director if you ask me

Having seen the movie before reading the graphic novel, I like the movie; but, I can also see why Alan Moore got pissed about the adaptation as the novel got ripped apart.

i just read through Alan Moore's wikipedia, that man has quite a chip on his shoulder because of Hollywood. Some of it rightfully so(testifying for plagurizing League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was just nuts) other not so much(being against Joel Silver for V for Vendetta and Watchmen. David Lloyd himself agreed they sold the rights knowing full well what was going to happen). Its a shame that Hollywood couldnt treat a guy like that right

Watched Precious and Ballast over the last couple days. Both very good films.

Saw Precious this evening. Like no film I have ever seen before. Amazing but so difficult to watch.

I hope you enjoy burning in hell for this statement.

I shared similar sentiments with him just earlier this week.

Finally saw Funny People. I thought it was really good.

Turner Classic Movies has a better selection of old movies.

'Spread' was a good RedBox rental. They don't make enough hard-R rated films anymore

Going to watch 'The Road' later today. Lets see if the film creates the same spoogefest as the book did for so many people.

I saw funny people last night. Not funny. Very long. Lots of people
