Went to the San Diego zoo this weekend with Ryan Buch and Jacque and Brad Salgado and his gf ..the weather was perfect and we had a blast. My calves still hurt from walking all day long!! lol ..Buch said he was going to mini camp, so that's fun! This season is creeping up on us quickly .. Chase will be leaving for spring training on March 5th, we will have been married exactly 1 month by that time!! Good luck to these guys!!

Thats kinda cool how you all hang out during the off-season, how hard is it being in a relationship with an athlete that puts them on the other side of the country for at least half the year.

Mountain lion. I seem to recall, there used to be a small population of those in the Ozarks and Ouchita mountains, in souther MO, western AR and eastern OK. But suburban St Louis seems to be way outside that range.

Thats kinda cool how you all hang out during the off-season, how hard is it being in a relationship with an athlete that puts them on the other side of the country for at least half the year.

 

The only thing hard about it is I miss him tremendously! I trust him 100% and don't really worry about the "cleat chasers", they are annoying, but not a threat to me or my relationship. This season I am going to stay with family in Arkansas so I will be closer to him ..he won't have to stay up till 1am just to speak to me every night!! lol ..We speak several times a day, so it's not that bad. ..I adore Buch and Salgado and their girlfriends, Jacque is absolutely adorable! I enjoy them and wish nothing but the best for all of them!

Went to a Girl Talk concert last night. It was insane. My favorite parts were around the 8:10 and 12:50 marks in this video. Seriously, if he ever plays anywhere near any of yall, go see him. For those who don't know, this guy (it's just one dude, but goes by the alias "girl talk") samples all sorts of music (from the Beatles and Steve Winwood to Three 6 Mafia and Biggie), and mashes it together.

I have someone coming to look at my Trek bike that I listed on Craigslist for $1,500. It's a really nice bike, but I just don't get enough use out of it to justify having it hanging on my wall collecting dust. But I am a bit nervous about having someone I have never met come look at it. There are just a lot of shady people on Craigslist these days.

 

If I don't ever post again after 6 pm pacific time, you guys know I was killed by a craigslist person.

Well, I live in a big condo building, so I'm not too worried about that. But yeah, I certainly am not letting them in the building. I am meeting them next door in a parking lot.

 

I'm just concerned it will be two people and they will steal it somehow. But I am probably just being paranoid.

Well, it was a nice couple that came to see the bike. And they didn't kill me or steal the bike. But they didn't buy it yet either. Although they did seem very interested and wanted a night to sleep on it.

 

It was the right size, so that is good.

I guess I’ve never really thought about it before but I’ve sold a few things on Craigslist and I’ve always had the person come to my house to look at what I was selling.

 

 

A couple of times it just wasn’t practical to meet somewhere else. One was a 6’ X 5’ X 15’ dog kennel and the other was a 14’ pop-up trailer.

 

I’ve certainly heard horror stories though. Especially if the item for sale is worth a lot of money.
