Allows everyone to watch the Bears game, but more importantly, it prevents Sox from facing Verlander (likely would get Fister in the make up game) and would give Sale an extra day of rest (and allow him to face the Twins, a team he matches up well against). It seems to take a lot to cancel the game and I am not sure any of that hurricane moisture is still out there. We just might have to face Verlander tonite. The guy has lost 8 games this year so he can be beat even by this team I think. Last night our bullpen was bad but the offense tried to come back against an equally leaky Detroit pen. I hope Chris Sale has enough in the tank and learned from last Sunday and we can score one more run then the Tigers.
