Chris Bosh is reportedly finalizing an agreement to return to Miami on a five-year deal worth $118 million.

Wow, looks like Bosh is going to remain loyal to Pat Riley. If Bosh had elected to sign with Houston he would have been leaving $32 million on the table, so perhaps there was a bit of financial incentive at play here. Miami has a lot of cap space, and they can bring in another high-profile free agent to play alongside Bosh and Dwyane Wade. Bosh will now take on a much larger burden with shouldering the offensive workload in Miami, and he could be in for a fantastic fantasy season. Jul 11

Damnit. Stupid NBA.

I just realized I'm only going to be living 3 hours from Cleveland and if Melo goes to Chicago that makes driving to Cleveland for a Bulls/Cavs game a reasonable thing to do.

Which means it's not going to happen even more so.

Just think about how much money you'll save by not going to that game when Melo doesn't come here.

I don't understand why someone would take this long to decide if he was going back.. He had the offer over a week ago and met with all the teams over a week ago.. He obviously doesn't want to really stay if he has to think this hard. It just doesn't make sense

Melo wants Chicago and the money. Phil is refusing to let that happen.

Frank isola saying this means melo to NY....

Lol, not sure that means that all. There must be ways for pau and melo to come over.

Frank Isola's been wrong before, he's probably wrong again.

ESPNSteinLine Marc Stein

Sensing Bulls increasingly focused on trying to complete acquisition of Pau Gasol ... since pulling off their Melo dream is proving so hard

Pau consolation prize in Melo sweepstakes :(

Amazing how much the bulls real gm forum is exploding at 2am.

Ha, it's Saturday.

I usually stay up till 3 or 4 on the weekends. They have a few international posters as well, so it's like morning for them.

Plus, some of those guys over there are crazy about the Bulls.

The score reporting it's for the MLE. Which would almost seal Melo to the bulls with a sign and trade involving Taj.

Otherwise there's no reason to make that move.

Nobody has said it's MLE other than that guy on CBS Radio. BTW, that's not the Score, that's CBS Sports radio.
