Guess we're just gonna use this game as the Rodon intro to the bigs, and not care about trying to win.

Francona giving away outs vs, a pitcher who can't throw strikes. Where have I read about this before?

I know I mock facial hair talk, but that mustache is brutal.

What's annoying is Rodon wasn't ready yet for the majors

Robin's managing for the future...like in Sept. when they will be well out of it again.

Can we have a f***ing slider, please? Change? Jesus.

I agree with this. Would have liked to have seen him down longer.

Stop calling for fastballs every time when he's clearly struggling with fastball command pls Tyler

Well this game is over.

I know you love jumping to conclusions, but to make this kind of statement off a guy's major league debut is pretty absurd.

It is his major league debut, he is jacked up. Bryant fanned 3 times during his debut.

Unreal

3 runs now, directly attributed to "Hey, let's introduce Carlos Rodon to the big leagues in an awful situation!"

He bounced the first two sliders he threw. He's struggling with command, period.

They're just sitting dead red. This is some of the worst coaching for a debut I've ever seen.

Leaving him into die?

Can't score more than a run anyway.

He is not keeping closed. This causes the ball to be left up and in on the lefties. Most likely due to a lot of adrenaline. He just needs to relax and pitch. He will be fine.

I have said this all along. He still needed to work on command and change up

What's with the pitch calling

I feel like we just threw this game with no care just so Rodon could pitch.

Robin Ventura had two jobs today:

1. Give away a game to a division opponent.

2. Destroy any confidence Carlos Rodon may have came into the majors with.

Done & done.

You sure about that? Dunn walked a ton.

Positive and he doesn't strike out as much

I blame the mustache.

He is but traditionally his fastball command has been way behind his slider command
