Just wanted to wish all Sox fans a good 2016 season. As far as the team, may they be productive, travel safe and win at least 82 games (anything over that is gravy in my book...)

Mark

Hopefully not Turkey gravy

Man sox got screwed in april. One day off and royals get 5 days off. Sox are going to need to come out strong in april.

There will be rainouts in April, I'd rather have less days off and let the team develop some momentum. We all saw how well the team played last year after the extended break due to the Baltimore riots. Save the days off for later in the season when we'll actually need them.

do we have confirmation on what the lineup will be tonight? in terms of the order

So far we know:

Eaton

Rollins

Abreu

Frazier

Melky

Im guessing the rest goes:

Avi

Lawrie

Avila

Jackson

Grey in Career vs Current White Sox Roster

Batting Avg: 0.300 [12 / 40], BABIP: 0.310, FIP: 8.635, K%: 16.00, BB%: 18.00

10 Groundout, 9 Walk, 8 Single, 8 Strikeout, 5 Flyout, 3 Home Run, 2 Grounded Into DP, 2 Lineout, 1 Sac Fly, 1 Pop Out, 1 Double

Insanely detailed information for each current white sox hitter vs grey:

Edit: the link above is cool but the roster is wack.

Interesting how little uncertainty there was over the composition of the bullpen. Ultimately, it is exactly the same as last year, but with everyone healthy (Jones and Petricka started the year on DL last season).

I really wonder what the line up would look like if LaRoche had stuck it out and had been healthy. Would Avi be starting at DH over LaRoche? If not, would they have put Avi into the line up over Jackson or Cabrera?

If LaRoche hadn't retired, Avi would more than likely been a super sub of sorts spelling all three outfielders and DHing versus LHP allowing him to play 3 or 4 days a week. He would probably not be in the lineup today.
