  1. That seems to be the trend of other small markets by signing cheap veterans for trade pieces.
  2. Why trade for them when you draft them. Somehow I don't think good organization really trade treasure for trash. I'm a skeptic until we see them in the majors.
  3. He has that Sox stink on him which is the same as baseball stupid.
  4. Bad teams are very good at trading few decent to good players they have with hopes something will happen within five years. The trade of at least getting something usually is 2 steps back or someone just to fill a minor league roster. The problem with baseball it's a trade frenzy sport. The Sox are not alone in this. I treat the Sox as a small market habitual losing franchise.
  5. That's nothing new. It's been like that since 2022. Best quote I read "Keep going to the bullpen until you find the guy to give up the lead. "
  6. He hardly played at AA. Good organizations are patient in developing players. Notice the word "good".
  7. As players get older you never know when age sets in, It made no sense for the Sox to resign him since they never have a shortage of guys that are 1B/DH material.
  8. Sometimes change for change sake. He doesn't connect with players it appears.
  9. LOL, you guys thinking they're gonna fire Grifol. I bet they get no hit before that happens. JR listen to fans? Isn't he the guy that blame us for not showing up? Delusional at best.
  10. A good organization would do that. Sometimes a player wants to do that.
  11. Lamar could probably run slightly faster.
  12. No one was going to give up much for a rental player of his caliber. Hindsight is easy. They tried.
  13. We assume that but some players in sports are injury prone. His career is probably done.
  14. But there is only one naive organization I can think of to make that trade. Unfortunately that trade can't happen since he is with the organization.
  15. Great another rushed prospect.
