  1. Past hour

  2. 6-3. Every series against them has been a sweep. 2 for the Sox. 1 for DET.
  3. This team is toast. No playoffs. The Tigers could very well beat them 4 in a row. Almost every one of them looks scared and are just waiting to lose. Like others here have mentioned the worst part of this collapse is now there is very little to look forward to next season. Most everyone has looked like trash down the stretch and no one has stepped up.
  4. Just got back from physical therapy. Glad I missed this again. Welcome to second place. 5-12 in the last 18 games. Tom Petty's song, "Free Fallin'" is going through my mind. Again a starter is only able to go four innings which put a strain on an overworked bullpen. And yet AGAIN another clutch two out RBI hit kills them. Now they face a hot Tigers team back in the race. I'm sorry but these guys look D.O.A. Just somehow scrape together five more wins, call it a winning season and head to the golf course.
  5. Sounds like this blurb was written by a scab. I don't know why he's infantilizing the rep, he's ostensibly a grownup who is qualified to do his job, not some "poor kid" who can't deal with critique of the organization he works for. This guy makes it out like the players would somehow be offended by labor agitation on their behalf. The Trib really is a rag.
  6. Agreed, but that makes our defense worse sadly
  7. It's even better than that. "Remember when Tommy Pham hit a go ahead 3 run homer in Cleveland after convincing Getz to hit him cleanup on an elevator ride?". Now it'll be forgotten in a couple of days.
  8. I wonder what Getz’s next blunder is? We have blown deadline, blown 2027 budget, blown division lead and having to fire Scouting Director.
  9. Well I don't think its out of the question that they just lost Colson for at least 2 weeks. Maybe that helps at this point, tbh. He's been brutal. Grich needs to be playing everyday at this point. I'd move Meidroth to SS and Sam to 2B if Colson is unavailable.
  10. It could have been legendary.....years later...."remember when Tommy Pham hit that 3 run homer against Cleveland?" but now the answer to that question will be "No, I don't"
  11. I don’t think Jay gets anywhere near the tail that Dolph does. 🤣
  12. Hate his dolph ziggler looking ass.
  13. If they fail to make the playoffs it just adds to Reindorf's legacy of failure
  14. I see we are back to the bad old days where Jay Cuda only imparts horribly demoralizing stats to make my day even worse....thanks Jay
  15. This will require them to not vomit all over themselves every chance they get. What have you seen over the last month that makes you think they’re capable of that?
  16. Yea sorry - 6-3 , 3-0 at home. all 3 series have been sweeps
  17. I was watching on gameday....someone who watched the game said it was a stupid decision to not just throw it to 2B.
  18. I still think we need to win at least 3 against Detroit.
  19. Swept them in Detroit, then got swept in Detroit, then swept them at home.
  20. A young team that had so much progress is getting blown up.
  21. So basically as long as they don’t get swept, shouldn’t be an issue. My hate watching is more exciting than Sox games.
  22. We swept them in Detroit last month so that doesn’t add up.
