  1. Yesterday

  2. The Sox are not gonna trade Taylor and, as great as he was yesterday, he’s not going to bring in what Crochet brought. But let’s assume that Taylor could bring in what Crochet brought. Three really good young prospects. Where are they going to play? Where? Catcher covered for years. The infield is overstocked to the point that Mune has to be moved to DH, Vargas to 1st, to find a place to play Roch (Colson either SS or 3rd). Billy Carlson is already completely blocked. Caleb B. has to move the outfield to get a place to play next year, but still where in the outfield? Where can Caleb B. play in the outfield, or for that matter Antonacci? Braden Montgomery is in RF and gonna be a ton better next year; he’s there for years. Sox have an all-Star centerfielder who I think is getting moved to LF to make way for the defense, athleticism, and right-hand power bat of Doyle. Peters is gonna be in left, providing the White Sox with, arguably, its best defensive outfield in their history. Antonacci, as much as I love him, has no starting position next year and is excellent depth. Where is Bonemer going to play? Don’t you guys understand? The Sox everyday talent has really, really improved since they traded Crochet. So if they traded Taylor for three prospects the equivalent of Chase, Teel, and B. Montgomery, they would be blocked for playing time like Antonacci, Bonemer, and Carlson. So, there’s absolutely no point to trading Taylor, as silly as the idea was to start with.
  3. The guy that just blew the game for the padres lol
  4. DAYUM he said take this 😂😂😂
  5. We've seen 2 elite closers blow multi inning saves in Duran and Miller. Meanwhile, Grant Taylor's saves just keep getting longer and longer.
  6. LOL> I was 100% right about that but go ahead you vengeful mofo. "Ald. Pat Dowell (3rd Ward) highlighted that the $216 million podium structure, which includes a 1,200-space underground parking garage, solves a critical engineering problem at The 78 mega-development. The site features a complex 40-foot grade change between Roosevelt Road and the city-built Wells-Wentworth connector. Deputy Planning Commissioner Jeff Cohen and Ald. Dowell clarified that without building this massive base structure to bridge the elevation gap, the northern section of the vacant rail yard remains completely unbuildable." The infrastructure is backed by a $425 million Tax Increment Financing (TIF) package approved by the Chicago City Council in July 2026. Originally,, Mansueto promised this soccer stadium would be privately financed . He lied, but the public is used to that routine by now.
  7. The success of the 2026 White Sox pitching staff which heavily relies on the bullpen could become a template for pitching staffs throughout the league. A supposedly tired bullpen is also a bullpen that remains ready to pitch. Take this 🖕
  8. interesting outfield, to say the least
  9. 14/36 .389 Chourio with bases loaded can't walk three batters there, obviously looks like mlb gets the series most have been waiting for, Dodgers and Brewers hopefully it's competitive this year SD just hasn't gotten job done with risp
  10. Miller is just not as good recently. I still can't believe he walked Gary Sanchez.
  11. What a moment for Chourio, wow
  12. Why wouldn’t you bring in Miller to face Churio with two on and two out in the seventh just to bring him in to start the 8th. The series was on the line. Those four or five pitches were a bridge too far. They got away with it but that’s poor managing.
  13. Ingress and regress
  14. Like death and taxes.
  15. Eminem in 8 Mile over here.
  16. Many cling to the Zeno's Paradox myth of onboarding statistical analysis. Like, The Sox are 15 years behind. By the time they catch up, everybody will have moved onto to the next frontier. That is, unless you hire their guys, quickly put the resources in place without having to make the years of mistakes and adjustments the early adopters had to, then pivoting to embracing the cutting-edge stuff simultaneously.
  17. People say lots of things. Taylor is not a starter. Hagan Smith can’t be brought up because he can’t throw strikes in the minors.
  18. There was some snarking when Sox hired a "mental performance" coach, but there seems to be something there. Think the guy they hired was poached from the Mariners, whose vibes have gone in the opposite direction. Getz also cites makeup and chemistry for almost all of his player acquisitions now, and you of course need a manager capable of reading the room and building a culture.
  19. Yo Caulfield dropping bars
  20. tray and bad takes, name a more iconic duo
  21. They could get a haul; and if the Sox still figure Taylor as a reliever, they probably should go get that haul. But hopefully, Taylor starts dominates. It would be great if H Smith could do the same; but I haven't seen anything about him that suggests starter (under the definition of giving you at least 5 innings, but preferably 6+)
