While I would trade neither Bonemer nor Carlson this July (except perhaps for Miller, if projected as a starter going forward), I would trade Bonemer first. I would not trade Carlson. I've shifted on this. Bonemer would bring more in return. He is higher ranked, closer to the majors. He should bring a ton. We already have Bergolla (who could be traded too) and Roch close to the majors. C Carlson is an elite defender. The best of the best. It would be great to have that and we need it. I think Carlson has a higher ceiling, if they can fix his swing hitch.

I can't think of anyone who was saying that Gonzo wasn't any good. Wasn't the consensus that he didn't have a spot on this team?

Every time I saw that the Twins didn't score in extras, I thought it was over for sure. Then I check the score again and they somehow got out of it. 1.5 games is the largest lead in the division so far this year, I think.

Unfathomable that the Twins bullpen went 5 innings without giving up a run (including 3 ghost runners). Our old friend YoYoGo is having a really nice season for them.

Getz was in charge of PD. It's honestly incredible the hoops people will jump through. Getz has given the reigns to some smarter people in the draft room and so far they've drafted better on the positiom player side, and the one time he got involved we got Hagen Smith instead of the future #1 prospect in baseball. Getz Gets all the PD credit when it's not his actual job and none of the blame from when it was his actual job lol

I thought I heard Chuck say on the post-game show that the Sox have the 4th lowest output offensively for catching in the history of baseball. That can't be right, mind-boggling.

At least youre not refuting anything I said which only goes to show you pick and choose when to hate on Getz. Do you expect perfection now after less than a year ago hating on everything you could ? You know as well as I do that most of the pitching they picked up dumpster dives, roster churn moves and Hudson and now Hicks have been very strong , Taylor has improved from last year,Burke has too as has Martin. They got Houser to work out and got Mead for him and Boston for Mead. Of course Houser changed it around right before the Sox picked him up. They got lucky and TX was the dummies right ? They have got decent value from Fedde twice. Schultz is close to 23 now ? OMG he's washed up. Shane Smith was a great pickup until he regressed. So was Vasil until he got injured. Yet there are those who still happily rip the Sox a new one about Mead or rip Gonzo to shreds until they traded him and now it becomes they could've used him for a starting pitcher he's was so valuable. Didn't Callis say the he thought the Pirates overpaid ? Getz is only about to reach his 1st 3 years as GM on August 31st. Still churning the roster but less room at the inn.
