I still don’t understand your theoretical here. He already agreed to an opening day payroll based on a certain expected revenue for the season. He came to a specific number knowing a lockout next year was very likely. Nothing has really changed on that front. As such, the additional revenue from attendance being up vs. plan is house money at this point. If had more concerns about next year’s financial situation, he’d have gone even lower with his OD payroll.

On that error, DJ said he fielded it flat-footed, which could also be indicative of back pain. Have they ever said why he gets back pain? Recurring nature kinda points to something structural.

Sox now have a Big Three. Mura, Vargas and Colson.

I think he's just a streaky hitter.- Sox go for sweep of KC: 1:10 CDT 6/28
Gonzalez has to beat that out. I’m a little concerned about him.- 6/28 Games
Have yourself a day Mr. Bonemer! 4-5 with a HR and 2 doubles.- 2026 MILB Catch-All

Just can't lose this game. They play so good then clunkers like this. KC's pitching lineup was so weak today and the Sox went so cold after the 2nd. Colston in a terrible slump, we needed him today. He's .184 for June & .147, no homers, & 1 2B since NY, all vs Central foes. Most of the few hits he's gotten lately have been jam shots & end of bat bloops and his error today was the difference. Back issues? If so, maybe he needs to sit for a few games.- Trade Ideas/Rumors/Proposals Thread
Rentals mean additional salary for this year and with the lockout coming JR may say "no, period" to any salary increases for this season because of the ramifications the lockout will have on next year and his operating income. I'd hope he'd allow something if the Sox are still in it but this is JR remember.- White Sox - Injury Tracker
The official Sox website has no update on him since May 24. They posted that Bush had a setback updated on May 24. Berroa hasn't had any updates since May 17 with his new injury. Frankly I'm not counting on any of those guys for this season.- Sox go for sweep of KC: 1:10 CDT 6/28
This one is on Ron- Today

Yes, next week is going to be big. Remember last year they didn't win a single game all season either in Baltimore or Cleveland. Winning at least three on the road trip would be fine by me. The question is can they do that?- Sox go for sweep of KC: 1:10 CDT 6/28
The BABIP luck in the Guards loss was ridiculous- Sox go for sweep of KC: 1:10 CDT 6/28
Winnable, but whatever. Take the series win and move along. Really need to see them win a road series or two here.- White Sox - Injury Tracker

He's finding his footing, 3-4 so far with a pair of doubles and a slam- Sox go for sweep of KC: 1:10 CDT 6/28
Just weird vibes in this one after the Colson error. First loss in a Kay home start since April, he had been on a good run at the Rate.- Sox go for sweep of KC: 1:10 CDT 6/28
Both losses on this homestand were very winnable.- Sox go for sweep of KC: 1:10 CDT 6/28
Well we pissed this one away, outside Vargas nobody played a great game imo.- Sox go for sweep of KC: 1:10 CDT 6/28
Agree.- Sox go for sweep of KC: 1:10 CDT 6/28
Dabgambit the bleeping Indians won too. The central is going to come down to the flipping wire. Only way I can really see us running away with it is if we see Getz do what I’ve been begging for the last two weeks. Two starting pitchers, a lights out bullpen arm, and Mune returning at LTP strength.- Sox go for sweep of KC: 1:10 CDT 6/28
Just one of those games, I guess. The problem is that this team sucks on the road, so you really need to win games like these at home.- Sox go for sweep of KC: 1:10 CDT 6/28
Also Ron should be banned from creating threads. Like, on the backend. Take his ability.- Sox go for sweep of KC: 1:10 CDT 6/28
He is slow but he hit that so hard he wasnt even out of the box when it hit Lange - Sox go for sweep of KC: 1:10 CDT 6/28
