  1. Past hour

  2. Like this deal a lot. I truly think this bullpen is shaping up to be a team superpower down the stretch.
  3. I liked this White Sox series-winning thread better when it was devoted to the White Sox winning a huge series.
  4. Think it’s due to Yankees trying to get Adley. If/when they figure out they can’t get him, I expect they will be up against the WSox for Stephenson.
  5. He’s been a terrible defender at 2B until this year, where hes actually been good. Ron Washington as a coach does wonders
  6. It's amazing how slow the catcher market is. Might be one of the last minute flurries we see.
  7. Yeah, I’m not a fan of this scenario lol get Stephenson
  8. I don't want to talk about it
  9. Haase has always hit lefties a bit. I think he only makes sense if you make no further additions at C and you pair him with like, Quero.
  10. Apparently not happening. Possible cash considerations were sent instead (I really don’t know this)
  11. where's our 2 PTBNL from the Hicks trade?
  12. Luis Arraez has a career BA of .318 and he gets traded every year. I find that amazing. You would think some team would keep him because of his hitting.
  13. Not acting like Haase is anything more than a temporary backup to Stephenson because Quero and Romo have been horrific in a lot of ways. While Haase isn't much of a hitter or even very good defensively, He does have a very good rep as a game caller and in game adjustments , has caught 2 no hitters and caught Skubal when Skubal was on the rise. Advanced game-management metrics (such as Adjusted Earned Runs Saved, which measures pitch-calling and plan execution) have rated him near the top of the major leagues.
  14. Still think our old friend James McCann would make some sense as a rental
  15. It's like keeping relievers.
  16. He does have two more years of control. Maybe they are expecting a quick turnaround. And ironically, just when you think you have an established starting catcher, s%*# happens and you have to rely on your backup or an offseason waiver claim at catcher. See the 2026 White Sox.
  17. I'm guessing today is Wolkow's last day WSD
  18. This makes sense. The Sox have made two deals with the Mets already and Torrens wasn’t included in either.
  19. Stearns first order of business was to kill all the vibes from the 2024 Mets. As we've learned from this Sox team, vibes are important.
  20. Other than that year he came back from TJ surgery, he probably should have moved back sooner
  21. Your team is also dogshit why are you keeping a backup catcher that teams want?
  22. Bonemer is a far better prospect than Nimmala, wild to think otherwise. Can't wait for this deadline to be over and Sox fans can shut up about their desire to lose trades to Arte Moreno.
  23. He makes just under $3M and makes just under $6M. I know it’s not a lot of money but I would think they would try to deal away as much money as possible haha
  24. They’d be better off without him.
