Truly believe if he used the whole field, it would make him such a better hitter. He’s such an extreme pull hitter now, as all his homers seem to be right by the foul pole. I understand there will be a ton of strikeouts and a lot of homers, but the non-home run contact seems to be quite poor. I can’t even remember last time he just lined a ball to center for a single. Same with Murakami (and Vargas if I’m being honest)

He’s just about at the Mendoza line and of the regulars including Beni and Grichuk his OPS is only better than B. Montgomery.

Why should the Sox care about what Amtrak does? Take care of yourself. Build your new stadium where you want with your money.

He has 31 for the Sox so how much would that other team really fix him? He is going to strike out a ton. That’s just the player he is.

This team cannot sustain a rally as they swing for the fences on every pitch. This was the modus operandi of the hitting coach who also can’t fix Kolson and Mune. They will probably give up on Kolson as we have good prospects at shortstop, he then like Vaughn will be fixed by his next team and wind up hitting 40 homers a year for the next decade. To tell the truth after that one AB by Kmont I don’t care to ever see him in Sox uniform against, I don’t think I’ve been so mad at a Sox player as I was with that AB as he just quit after the first strike. I would have benched him and his 200 Ks right there.

I think the Sox and Cubs both miss the postseason, in all honesty. Just a normal September for baseball in Chicago.

Yep, according to Crain's, Ishbia intends to buy the entire 20-acre BNSF yard. I read somewhere that BNSF would likely move their maintenance yard to a currently-vacant rail yard at Western Ave. along the BNSF Metra line. The active train lines for Metra and Amtrak that run through that property would have to remain. Since those train lines run through the middle of the entire property, perhaps those can be shifted slightly to the west to provide enough room to fit in a ballpark.
