  7. Worse. Eternal ingress and egress discussions

  9. Wind clearly played a bigger factor than everyone first thought. A lot of those fly ball today went way shorter than the fielder first thought off the bat.
  10. The vast majority of NFL teams play in publicly-owned stadiums. They tend to have deals in place to make them “primary tenant” or something of the sort, which gives them near-absolute control for scheduling, a cut for non-NFL events’ revenue, the ability to sell naming rights for sponsorship, etc. This would be similar to their current situation at Soldier Field, except a) their landlord wouldn’t be the Chicago Park District but rather a stadium authority created specifically for the Bears b) they would have priority for scheduling events (no tearing up of the field ahead of a home game) c) they would still stand to make much more money than they currently do at SF, even if they don’t own the stadium.

  13. A little embellishment by translator. “Dirty words,” which could also be interpreted as “swear words”
  14. You just made me look that old classic up for nostalgia. He also did the ShamWow infomercial — Vince Offer. “You’re gonna love my nuts.”
  15. Yesterday

  16. Yeah, I don't know how that would all work. So, the Bears would pay for it but the city/state would own it? That negates the property tax issue, but why would the Bears want to still be tenants after paying to have the stadium built?
  17. I know that's just someone's AI creation, but wow! The possibilities at that site look amazing. Looking at the comments on IG, it looks like it's 90% positive. Someone here might be triggered by this, though. Brace yourselves for another meltdown.
  18. 117 BIP between 105-107mph EV and 30-32 LA in the regular season Pham's 366ft would be the shortest distance of all of them 1 triple, 9 outs (almost all to deep CF), and 107 home runs baseballsavant.comStatcast SearchBaseball Savant
  19. Brayden had one knocked down by the wind as well. Glad we won because that was some windy Progressive Field bs.
  20. And WAY cheaper, even with gas and hotel
