  1. Past hour

  2. Schultz is a starter for them, they just had to me careful with him and really monitor his innings. I expect some of the kids gloves to come off next year.
  3. Setting strikeout records in the postseason doesn’t make me think they are fixed.
  4. Looks like 19th I believe, without any consideration to anyone who would lose picks due to signs, overspending, etc.
  5. What’s their draft position?
  6. I mean, he did. They’re a top 3 offense in the game. Tied for best in the AL
  7. not a subscriber. a synopsis perhaps?
  8. Following the WS loss, Toronto made some changes to their roster to improve but they actually got worse. Also it seems that the deeper a team advances in the playoffs, the more disappointed the team and the fans are. I recall Mookie starting a World Series ending double play on a grounder from Kirk who didn't make it half way to first. It was a ball buster.

  10. Problem is, so are other teams
  11. Today

  12. Over the course of the last two months of the season Acuna would have put the ball in play loads more than Colson did.
  13. The Sox have come a long way from 102 losses, but still have a long way to go. 52 Ks in three games showed just how flawed our offense is even with the bright spots. Relying on smoke and mirror for pitching only gets you so far. I hope Getz & Co see the glaring flaws and aren't resting on their laurels. But this is the White Sox organization we're talking about.
  14. Lol. Did we always blame coaches or was there a time that the player failed and it was their fault? Is it really the hitting coach against the pitching coach backed by their analytics departments?
  15. Regardless of what happens now, it’s pretty obvious that the Guardians were/are a better team than the Sox. They came back and took the division from the Sox and came back and took a postseason series from the Sox down 0-2 at home.
  16. Most teams would be happy to have these numbers
  17. The Sox had the least DPs in all of MLB with 73 The last 3 games were terrible, but the season had some solid numbers. AL: Sox #1 in runs, this is the most important stat. Sox #1 in base on balls Sox #1 hit by pitch Sox#2 OBP Sox#3 HR Sox#3 strike out Sox#30 (in MLB) ground into least DP
  18. Or you can hit into a double play. High ground ball rates are killer, as we found out in 2022
  19. deLauter might end up as their best hitter last rookie in Top 5 hitting for CLE since Shoeless Joe in 1911 lol almost as crazy as Sox K statistics and now CLE has Messick and Williams to go up against Peralta and likely Nick Martinez
  20. Without a doubt, most in the Metro area live in Tampa and the northern suburbs. For those fans it’s a bad trek down to St. Pete especially on weekdays during rush hour with all the bridges having huge traffic jams. Fans in the towns east of the Bay have to travel up to 30 miles out of their way as they have to take I-75 south to 275 and then come back north across the Sunshine Skyway bridge. Actually for me here in Port Charlotte and fans in Bradenton, Sarasota and Venice it will be a longer trip. What the difference in attendance will be is anyone’s guess but the Lightning and the Bucs draw very well in Tampa, my guess the Rays will probably average 5,000 fans more a game with a lot more in the first few years. We take 3-4 cruises a year out of Tampa and we can get to the port which is right next door to Benchmark Arena in less than 90 minutes and it would probably be about 15 minutes more to the new ballpark.
  21. Right on. Putting the ball in play is more productive than a K, as anything can happen. Ks are rally killers with RISP.
  22. The problem at the end was that we were swinging for the fences, and not connecting for any homers. If we were hitting some homers along with the strike outs, would have been more palatable.
  23. You left out Colson.
