  2. that s%*# is awful. if that is what passes for "sports writing" let AI take over. Too many awful fleets of fancy sentence to sentence to even bother, it's just non sense dressed up as some deep s%*#.
  3. https://chicago.suntimes.com/white-sox/2026/07/14/white-sox-all-stars-munetaka-murakami-miguel-vargas-tristan-peters-mlb-philadelphia-citizens-bank-park
  4. Ho hum...AL wins again. That's 23 out of the last 29. Well done guys!
  5. They're practicing for when the Sox win the next 3 Series, and have 7 starters in the next 3 All-Star Games.
  6. Why? In that scenario, if anyone should be sad, it should be Guardians fans.
  7. Did I miss something or did Fox not announce that Peters (until his routine catch) or Muni came into the game defensively before their respective at bats? Ofc, they drooled all over PCA when he entered the game defensively, they wouldn't let us miss that.
  8. “Somehow”? He had half the RBIs and had the game winning hit. I thought Vargas would be a good option also with the only XBH and home run, but let’s not pretend Bellinger didn’t deserve it also.
  9. Vargas goes boom The first homer of the 2026 edition of the All-Star Game belonged to first-time All-Star Miguel Vargas. The burgeoning White Sox slugger launched a no-doubt 433-foot homer off Dodgers starter Justin Wrobleski in the eighth inning to give the AL a little more breathing room after their three-run first inning. It was the third-longest homer in an All-Star Game since Statcast began tracking in 2015, surpassed only by Giancarlo Stanton (457 feet) and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (468 feet). From article on mlb
  10. Boob Nightengale with a nice click bait article about how Peters had to spend the night in the hospital because his wife had to be rushed there. Nightengale is a class act.
  11. It's too bad they never got rid of that GM and VP of baseball operations. Woe is us.
  12. Today
  13. Wilson's supposedly practicing 2,000 - 2,500 shots a day now. He’s going to get better...as long as he maintain that same work ethic and discipline.
  14. The mike on Dylan and strategizing with Smoltz was probably the coolest aspect of the entire game...unfortunately. Elite pitching wins in the post season.
  15. Philly players especially didn't show up for the home crowd 0-5 with 4K for their bats, 3 ER in an inning for their starter
  16. FIFA rigged it...at any rare, it just provides the White Sox more fuel for their overlooked/under appreciated status.
  17. So much for NL dominance...
  18. All 3 Sox on the field for the AL to end the game. Beautiful.
  19. Cody Bellinger will win it somehow ...
  20. BamaDoc replied to BamaDoc's topic in FutureSox Board
I think historically that is a lot of hr.
  21. Vargas really admired that bomb
  22. https://www.mlb.com/all-star/mvp-vote Vote Vargas
  23. I want him extended more than any other player. They explored buying out some arb years it sounds like, but he wasn't interested.
  24. Mune's next bobblehead is sponsored by Toto (as are the actual clubhouse bidets IIRC) The travel packages will have Japanese airline and travel agency partners
  25. Vargas reminds me of Konerko. Struggled with LA as a top prospect but excels with us. Lets hope their futures are similar.
