Just seems that 5 year WS bump is now down to just 2-3 seasons...or maybe it's just that Texas is such a competitive sports market with football totally consuming weekends beginning in late August. Think Emerson has to be pretty affordable. They need to move someone because they have two elite of elite SP prospects that are ready, and Emerson doesn't have a long track record of success. I just have no idea why a team with Cole Young would trade for Meidroth. Only 2 more years of control and he's not a big swing and miss guy. They're usually cheaper.
