I just really struggle believing in fields development when it just never seems like he recovers after bad starts. He just seems to mentally crumble when it’s not going his way in game.

Thanks for the update on hitting in the playoffs. I truly am not following the baseball postseason. Baseball has pretty much lost my interest after decades of zealousness. Like my teachers used to say if you feel that way, rest assured somebody else does too, thus i suspect baseball is declining in interest postseason-wise and soon it'll be like pro soccer. Baseball has a lotta problems, folks. Of course one of the biggest problems is the joke called the White Sox. p.s. what's going on with the pitching? Are starters making it through the fifth?

Yeah, give him a 2 year deal. And announce it towards end of off-season/spring training so you can give yourself 40-man flexibility all off-season/place him on 60-day IL at Spring Training.

Greg they're probably going to be worse in 2024 than they were this year. There is no easy way out of this. It will take years, probably half a decade.

Phillies is my early World Series favorite at this point. I think they can beat Astros or Rangers. As much as I like the DBacks I'd be surprised if they beat Philly.

Something tells me the Rangers' good "culture" has more to do with spending a bunch of money on good players and winning games because of it. I don't think we were talking about the Rangers when they were bottom-feeding the last decade. Bochy seems like a good manager though, maybe we only lose 94 games with him at the helm.

I haven’t read the article, but if you really want to establish a culture, you don’t stick with a loser, brown-nosing manager like Grifol. It’s amazing to me that Hahn said he wanted to hire a guy with experience in a competitive org and then goes out and hires some rookie chump from the Royals. You reap what you sow I guess.

This is exactly right. 8 years in a row the Royals haven't been above .500. And that's with this guy in his prime years. Merrifeild in his prime years and Benintendi as well. If this stuff is true, MLB needs to step in.
