QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 02:40 PM) Spelling is the first side affect of the pattened Sleepy Rufi-Colada. Yea for the Pic whore...rounding himself back into midseason form!

    Rap Sucks

QUOTE(SleepyWhiteSox @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 02:32 PM) Sleepy is my sexii babii Her spelling is almost as bad as Steff's! So Sleepy your off the Wainright bandwagon already?
  3. Exactly, it looks like a raptor with a furry tail and weird arms. Carl Everett will never approve of this fairytail creature
  4. QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 11:51 AM) I believe it has to do with humidity more then temp? Caulk - someone correct me if I am wrong - will not set correctly if it's too humid..? I am unawares as to if Humidity is bad for caulk... However, I am entirely sure that cold weather is terrible for caulk as it tends to become brittle and freeze before it properly dries. This I know for sure... Caulking in extreme cold weather just doesnt work for the longterm, it almost always cracks after a short period of time.

    Beach tunes

Sublime - "doin" time and Santeria
  6. I'm sure MLK, Jr. really would have wanted his wife's funeral to be remembered as a George Bush celebrity 'roasting'. What a disgrace to the King family. The foundations of this country are as weak as they have ever been, and both democrats and republicans have truly been flat out embarrasing. These are the 'leaders' of our beloved country. I'm ashamed. :headshake
  7. QUOTE(maggsmaggs @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 11:15 PM) Scheyer is a good player, but in the Central Suburban North, let's be honest he is playing against crap competition--I would know I live around there. Conley defense and Oden's inside presence will give Scheyer fits. I think Scheyer is going to be a solid player at Duke--not for two years thought, but certainly, he is no J.J. Reddick, which some intoxicated Duke fans believe. I highly doubt it will take two years for Scheyer to produce at Dook. IMO, he will be solid from day one, hes just too smart of a player who moves very well without the ball. He will get his as soon as he gets playing time. Yes I will come back and take my medicine if he sucks his Freshman year.
  8. How is this even remotely suprising?

  10. QUOTE(CubsSuck1 @ Jan 31, 2006 -> 08:47 PM) i may be in... last time was interesting Hmm...I wonder why you would say such a thing
  11. Aww..I haven't seen any of the movies nominated for worst picture.
  12. Just a quick recap to further comprehend my stupidity - I thought Soxfest was this weekend :banghead Hmm...maybe I can go now
  13. QUOTE(Steff @ Jan 20, 2006 -> 11:09 AM) Oh good grief... :headshake lol...now why am I deserving of the shaky head guy? I'm not allowed to be weepy If I wanted to go I would've gotten tickets, I'm just looking for attention
  14. Guess who's not going to soxfest??? Yup...that would be me
  15. So apparently by this logic I would be able to move into this:
  16. QUOTE(bmags @ Jan 19, 2006 -> 01:11 PM) thanks jim, you're writing is very similar to paul konerkos i noticed... Naturally...he followed the well-known, "power hitting first basemen style of fan letter writing format." It's a common practice.
  17. QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Jan 19, 2006 -> 01:56 PM) When we bought our first home we were told that, as a general rule of thumb, the price of the house shouldn't be more than double your yearly income. Really...I would like to know what percentage of current homeowners actually would fall under that category?
  18. QUOTE(Steff @ Jan 18, 2006 -> 04:16 PM) That's what "IMO" means. I don't put IMO anymore in my posts because I was scolded by someone for using it. Apparently, the IMO is assumed when replying in a thread, who knew?
  19. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 18, 2006 -> 04:19 PM) Which is really what this entire 2 page long-winded argument has stemmed from. All any Illini fan said was that Bruce's recruiting has been improving and he looks to have a great 07 class. But somehow that got twisted and turned into a long clusterf***. Stop being such a homer
  20. QUOTE(Elcaballo45 @ Jan 18, 2006 -> 03:20 PM) I'm excited to see Alando Tucker and Terrance Dials play each other, should be a great matchup, but the due factor shows that OSU wins by 6. Anyone know the line, I think I'm betting the house. BoDog has OSU -5. I wouldn't touch this game...but thats just me. Good luck
  21. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 18, 2006 -> 03:43 PM) Didnt say you said that, if you read the post above yours, you would have saw who did. Thanks anyway. Oh so you quote my post, then use 'you' as a pronoun for another post in the thread. You must have gotten confused midway through your epic mindless driveling. Thanks anyway.
  22. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 18, 2006 -> 03:31 PM) soo 2005 huh? The amount of defensive Illini fans are so great after one good run. All of a sudden Weber is a god, and Illinois is a basketball powerhouse. So you are resting your hopes on high school juniors huh? Good luck with that. The player rankings that you are basing your hopes on will no doubtedly change, and other players will be recruited by other schools. Having 3 players in the top 100 is a norm for elite programs,in the big ten alone, MSU, Wisconsin and OSU all have accomplished that or near that THIS year. Calling me stupid and telling me to "go to kansas" just makes you look more retarded. Considering you dont even know who I root for apparently, and take a blind shot in the dark makes you sound like a cubs fan taking a blind shot at a sox fan. Its not like im pulling this out of thin air, his team since he got to illinois was not recruited by him, and didnt really want to play for him in the first place. Now he is losing his top players, starting to build his own program, and doesnt appear to have made great strides in his first year after an elite season. He may be a good coach on the floor, but he is not good in the living room. And thats a fact. Grasp at straws all you want, it only makes you look defensive and weak. Where in the flying f*** did I call you a Kansas fan? Did you even read my post? I could care less about rankings, I don't have to look any further than our own starting SG, Rich McBride to see that rankings mean absolutely nothing. He was highly touted, next great thing, and has turned out to be a spot shooter, and a bad one at that. Your entitled to what you want to believe, but don't blurt out one-liners like "Bruce Weber can't recruit" and not expect to be questioned. I'm not being defensive. All I know is the team that a lot of us root for has only lost twice this year, and both times the opposing teams fans were so jubilant to beat us they charged the floor...there is no greater compliment that that, IMO.
  23. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 18, 2006 -> 03:11 PM) Agreed on all counts except 1. Semrau is actually about 6'10 235, he isn't really skinny at all. Cole and Tisdale got a LOT of work to do though. I've seen a few recent pictures of Richard Semrau...hes not 'skinny' per se but he still needs a lot of time in the gym to prepare for the large step up in competition coming from a smallish private school in Ohio. But I guess you can say that for most every recruit. I should of just changed my original post to 'recruiting a lot of white big men' I'm actually excited to see what the offense will be like when all these multi-faceted big guys get on the floor. We will have big guys who can shoot it, big guys who can bang...should be interesting!
