The ironic thing is that Haseley might be the best defensive LFer we've fielded this year.
I blame a complete and utter lack of communication on balls hit in the air. I would be willing to bet that we lead the league in outfield collisions.
Related to that.... I think VV is one of the biggest "glue" guys on the staff. With how fickle the health of the staff seems to be, having a relief valve for Kopech (not to mention the other starters that may need rest as the season goes on) will be huge.
I wonder if this had anything to do with Lorenzen's gripes and the Justin Upton HBP....
