  1. Or maybe we’ve been too dumb to figure out those 2.5 miles the other way, judging by our attendance figures.
  2. Sox attendance has historically been abysmal. So what is it about the current location that you think is driving this?
  3. Let's just go for it. First over-the-water right field. Instead of grass, it's a glass floor in right field. Make outfielders choose between spikes and rubber sole shoes. Make it icy in cold weather. Or a right field that elevates into a foot bridge. Like that Houston CF hill, but on a larger scale. Any more bad ideas out there?
  4. I like that after he missed the catch (understandable - was a tough play), he just sat there like he'd been traded to a 120-loss team or something. If you don't want fans heckling you, don't sulk like a 5-year-old in front of them.

We traded away cash considerations. Let that sink in.
  13. Urban greenspace could be achieved by having a convertible stadium-adjacent ballyard that is slightly larger than the Fundamentals deck. On game days it gets gated off for paid admission only. On non-game days, it is an open greenspace that can complement neighboring / adjacent cafes and restaurants.
  14. As is LibreOffice.
  15. They seem like a LibreOffice or Google Slides operation to me.
  16. Yonder Alonso would like a word.
  17. Going with the portmanteau thing… Montykami Muragomery Col-taka
  18. While the cynic in me is asking, "who's the 'they' in this scenario?," I hope so. He's a draw, and he's expanding our market.
  19. Would one describe it as a "clean-ass swing?"
  20. https://www.mlb.com/news/munetaka-murakami-off-to-strong-start-in-mlb-career Point #3 on this piece:
  21. You misspelled "predictable."
  22. Actually feels nice.
  23. BTW this was the golden ticket. Thank you @DoUEvenShift
