  1. Braden Shemakesouts Eloy will be replacing Mayhem in All State commercials as "Clodhopper" promoting accidental health insurance plans.
  2. I have a positive one: Nastyrini.
  3. I can't get that image of TA getting knocked out when his name comes up. The old saying, "you made your bed, now lie in it ", also comes to mind.
  4. Agree 100% I also want to cut bait with Eloy and Moncada with the team options to end their contracts and let them be free agents in 2025, Adios.
  5. Lee and Quero in 2025 would be sweet,
  6. Thorpe is 3-0 with a 0.50 era down in Birmingham and Clevinger is on the way. Keller is another possible guy that could come up. The Sox should have some flexibility to wheel and deal pitching even with an innings cap on Crochet. I really like the youth movement with Leasure, Cannon, and Nastyrini. I don't know if the Sox have found something in Fedde that is worth keeping or should they sell high.
  7. Leasure, Nastrini, and Cannon bring back memories of Bart Johnson, Terry Forster, and Goose Gossage, young guns with live arms.
  8. My best friend, God rest his soul, was a diehard Cub fan. He bought me a Sox Starter jacket back in 1990. It' red, white, and blue, with the Sox logo and batter. It still looks brand new.
  9. Tommy is a pros pro, no nonsense guy. He will bring value to the club and could mentor some of the youngsters.
  10. Excellent!! Good young controllable pitching is a great sign for the future. I was really high on Soroka having a solid comeback, hopefully he can find his groove and limit the walks.
  11. In my best Water Boy logic, "Remember the time Tommy Pham came in early May and lead the White Sox to 64 wins? " I am still bummed learning the earliest the Sox can draft in 2025 is 10th. MLB needs to put in a White Sox Clause
  12. Crap ! Reality strikes , now back to White Sox hate
  13. With the first pick in the 2025 MLB Draft the Chicago White Sox select........
  14. If I ever get to the point of wanting the White Sox to embarrass themselves, I will probably be in a nursing home with Alzheimer's. Nurse Ratched will be giving me my meds and ranting how bad the White Sox are. " NEVER !!!!!!!!!!"
  15. Jesse Rogers is an ass hat, he claim to fame is getting Mike North's coffee.
  16. Teruo Nakamura was the last Japanese soldier to surrender after WWII, he lasted until 1974. Sox fans have held out longer than Teruo.
  17. Colas got optioned back to the Knights after 1 ab, whoa .
  18. Moncada and Eloy are not going to be part of the 2025 White Sox. One thing Getz is doing is building a controllable pitching staff for the future. He will have money to get a bat or two in free agency.
  19. 2018 Daniel Palka was a blast, I loved it. Even 2017 Matt Davidson was highly entertaining. I think Sheets can stick around longer than most people think. A left-handed bat with power that can DH/1st base off the bench has value. In a pinch, if you have to, you can put in the outfield.
  20. 1970 was by far the worse season I can remember, 106 losses. I will never quit being a Sox fan no matter what. When I am and dead and gone my obit will give the Sox a shout out.
  21. Unfortunately, if a Sox player is nursing a leg injury and doesn't go full tilt down to first base he will make the highlight reel as Robert jr did and get labeled a slacker out of context.
  22. Moncada was busting it out of the box, he was full tilt when he collapsed before first base.
  23. Who is a decent replacement for Pedro? Patrick Leyland will probably be an MLB manager someday down the road in a few years. Pedro is on the clock, tick tick tick.
  24. Were the Sox wearing solar eclipse glasses during their at bats?
