Lopez, Shewmake and the other minor league pitcher were obviously just filler. Not sure what kind of return any one could reasonably expect for a reliever coming off a 7 ERA season, but if Shuster takes a rotation spot, to me that would be a won trade

Colas is seven games into the beginning of his third season in the mlb system and has played less than 180 games in the minors. Sox are in no position to be dumping guys like Colas. Come on now

He wouldn’t have to when the Sox could have called up Barlow, Anderson, Touki, Kuhl, Woodford, etc
