Since I'm getting more into the Bears mode I thought I'd share some thoughts on the team, specifically.. offense. Yes Cutler is sexy and will be a damn fine quarterback for us, but I ask myself (as does every Bears fan out there) Is Ron Turner the right guy calling the shots/plays as the offensive ordinator? Can he stop being so predictable, and also develop more of a game awareness? Personally most people know we can do alot better than Ron Turner and hell... fans from other teams even agree to that. I would love to see Shanahan (who is brilliant in game awareness and understanding) to be a coach of any kind (I.E. offensive ordinator/HC) in the future for Cutler, but I'll definitely give Turner the doubt for this season to see what he can do for Cutler. I found an interesting post/thought from a guy (name/or what he calls himself.. Coach Zamboni, who is well respected) on his thoughts about Turner that I'll paste here (though I shoulda lied to take all the credit.. but I'm not like that.

Ditto. Heard about this program a long time ago but like you said, it's very pricey not to mention your still buying stuff for a pull up bar, muscle drinks, food, perhaps weights, etc.. Though I heard the nutrition plan is very good, but I lack the common sense in direction so...

From what I've been told, he's better than Konerko already in range. But his footwork needs work and also basic fundamentals. (I.E. scooping balls out of dirt, perhaps stretching to get the out, etc.) His athleticism as a first baseman (or in general) is off the charts though.

No, I only highlighted the power from 08' cause that was just a sick rate of homers he was hitting. Probably a bit of a fluke, but was worth noting. I wouldn't make a point on improving if I was downing a stat. Makes no sense.

He is an outstanding manager. Far better than I thought he was.

Didn't see the game till the 8th, but it looks like my boy Clayton Richard was better than most of our starters in this road trip.

I've never seen you turn on anyone as fast (or with disgust at that matter) as your boy (or old boy now) Lillibridge Alex.

B. He has really become a stellar prospect.

I really don't like pulling for a team Tru likes.. But I hate Boston and their fans. I hope Orlando advances on Sunday.

Still hard to believe this team is still only 3 games out (when this game is over probably and Clev. wins) of first place. God the AL Central sucks.

God I hope Rex Brothers falls to us. That's the guy me and I believe beautox really, really like.

Not a pitcher per say, more hitting wise, but I'm sure Bryce Harper is an early favorite #1 pick.

Hell it seems that since Pods came back, we've been sucking.

Just watching the kids develop (Getz being a solid MLB player/grinder, Nix actually figuring out, to go with his off the charts D at 2B, seriveable at SS/3B, Fields HOPEFULLY putting it together, also getting his D at 3B better, Danks taking the next step, Floyd HOPEFULLY getting back on track etc..) hopefully should be nice to watch but yea I agree were just fun to watch anymore. Hell, it's sad that I look forward to see how the Barons are doing moreso.

It's funny that even Joey Cora mentioned that to Oz and he quickly said no. Hell Ozzie wouldn't even put a natural rightfielder in Quentin, when JD was hurt. He was putting Pods out there. I like Ozzie, ALOT, but he's still a micro-manager as far as I'm concerned.

I'm a superstitious person myself even when I was playing ball. Josh really has to change it either back to #27, or go back to 22 when Pods is gone (BA and Wise come back) Preferably, like I said all season, please Josh... go back to #27 when you were putting up a .750+ ops

This is the first game I'm probably going to miss this season.. (doing charity work in the morning till afternoon probably) So hopefully I'll come home to a sox win.
