  1. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 20, 2010 -> 11:53 AM) Other than Ranger and elrockinmt, I don't know of anyone who posts here that fits your description of a chronic homer. Shack and Greg for sure. I'd even put Heads on that list. QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 20, 2010 -> 02:37 PM) I'm sure I'm viewed as a pretty big homer around here, and I can't really dispute that. Carry on...
  2. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Oct 19, 2010 -> 03:52 PM) Ridiculous brawl at a semi-pro Canadian football game. I'm sure Ron Artest likes this... Awesome. Best part was 2:13-2:15 if anyone catches that.
  3. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 18, 2010 -> 12:20 PM) The types of injuries are the centerpoint. We are talking about major shoulder and elbow problems versus ankle problems from running the bases and a freak muscle injury which happened after he got here, so it had no affect on the thought process of trading for Peavy. Great post. And interesting on Loux.
  4. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 19, 2010 -> 05:51 PM) Really? You can't do that one yourself in the time it took to write this post? Computer is very slow. I'm not at home since I got this new job, so I'm bouncing around relatives house for a couple weeks to be closer to work. So in other words... no.
  5. QUOTE (Wanne @ Oct 19, 2010 -> 02:13 PM) Tell ya what...I just have a bad feeling about him right now for some reason. He looked absolutely clueless at the plate this past year except for a few mini-streaks. Someone should pull up Beckham's stats post all-star break.
  6. Smart move. Quade isn't a "huge" saber guy, but he defintely uses the metric.
  7. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Oct 17, 2010 -> 06:49 AM) Certainly was a bit of a mis-match last night. Think you only scored 23 in the 1st half all together. Doesn't hurt one team was fresh while the other flew in late to play that night on a back to back. Thank god it's pre-season though. Bulls just looked sloppy from the get go.
  8. Seahawks (and Hester) gave Lovie's horrid decision alittle break (cept the timeouts). Earl Bennett leveled the punter.
  9. Still saddens me I missed this thanks to my computer f***ing up. I would have had the Bears last week and should still be in this game.
  10. That was a nice win. Sharp has been very good the last 2 games. Funny seeing him and Kopecky embrace each other after his goal. Just two years ago, they didn't like each other. Came full circle after the Cup and such. Turco was outstanding.
  11. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 16, 2010 -> 08:09 PM) Might have saved his career. Imagine him being in Oakland for 81 games instead of Coors Field? He might be no better than a platoon player. Balta FTW!
  12. Lets just hope Dwight Howard remembers it's pre-season and does not take out Rose tonight.
  13. Holy s*** Rangers lost?! I turned the channel when I saw them winning 5-0 in the 6th. (then 5-1 a bit later on, but still in control) Wow...
  14. QUOTE (T R U @ Oct 15, 2010 -> 10:11 PM) What? Hell no I am anti Dallas anything.. Dallas blows Sorry. Figured with the OOTP Texas pick and all that, since you live there. My bad Carl.
  15. Thank god Columbus is so terrible. Great win for the Hawks. I'm sure Krush, Steve, Tony, Critic, 2k5, Row, Rock, etc.. loved seeing Jassen Cullimore out there.
  16. QUOTE (T R U @ Oct 15, 2010 -> 10:06 PM) thank god, I want the Yankees to win I thought Texas was like your second distant team?
  17. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 15, 2010 -> 01:32 PM) Jen Patterson fired from Comcast Sportsnet Chicago (allegedly) for dating Blackhawk Nick Boynton Somewhere, Athomeboy is laughing hysterically.
  18. Boy if KW somehow got Rasmus, I will be streaking on Michigan Avenue. Love that kid.
  19. I'll have sports to watch tonight, so thats good. But I have no car to go out and meet up with this pretty girl from this chick who is a close friend of mine so I would say it's half and half or "just another day". Next Friday however, I will be on top of the world.
  20. Kaner is out for tomorrow's game. Isn't injured, but is sick.
  21. Finally after all this time, THIS GUY finally has a job. I start training Monday.

    P90X

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 14, 2010 -> 06:02 PM) If there is a hell on earth, it's definitely the plyo from p90x. Torture but got it done yesterday. Obviously you've never tried the Insanity program.
  23. QUOTE (T R U @ Oct 14, 2010 -> 04:43 PM) Karma is a b****. Somewhere, Jenn Sterger is laughing.
  24. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 14, 2010 -> 02:53 AM) I see his final OBP was .341. And I still have to give him credit because I though anything over .330 would've been a miracle. His value this year came mostly from his stellar defense. Which was aided by a smaller ballpark. Thank god pitchers decided to make him a bean ball so many times to inflate that number. Could have been much worse this year. QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 14, 2010 -> 01:31 PM) I'd like to see Kearns on this team. He'd make a lot of sense financially. Stick him in right field and DH Quentin. As a DH, Quentin would actually be a 2 WAR player. I was pimpin him last off-season. Would love the guy.
  25. Hated the deal since day one. Not too many prospects I fall in love with in our org., but loved Hudson. If the sox can re-sign Jackson, it'll be much easier to stomach the deal. Good luck with that KW.
