  1. That almost makes me feel bad for him, except he signed with the Royals. He sucks and is stupid, lol.
  2. It wasn't supposed to cover the whole deck, which I like so you can still enjoy the nice weather, and backup when it's not.
  3. Konerko isn't just bringing the bat, he's also playing a damn good first base too.
  4. That's fine, Reed and Rowand can hold down CF for now and the future. We'll see, but I'm personally more excited about Sweeney.
  5. What? If you're winning, you should be happy. And if you're happy, you're going to play loose and have fun. That is absolutely part of having success. Do you of any sports team that played miserable and kicked ass? I don't. Everyone who wins has fun, and having fun is part of their success.
  6. Adkins is a good pitcher. But how does that make him a starter? You think you can just make a guy a starter. You have to be stretched out, and you have to have the make up. Right now, Adkins has the make up of a solid reliever. Don't make him more than what he is. You can't just up and say, this guy should start.
  7. I would rather see Lee in the two spot over Olivo, even though Olivo looks a lot better this year so far. I don't mind Jose in the two spot, he's going to come around, and the guy can bunt, which we'll be seeing soon enough I'm sure. Happy Easter everyone!
  8. Part of the reason they are not hitting well, is because we're pitching well. Although, they've had opportunities that they have not capatilized on. Again though, that is due partly to good pitching and defense in general. If you want to go with dumb luck, that's fine, I'll take that too.
  9. You could tell he was retaining water in the before picture. Steroids.
  10. 2003 they moved him to third base. He's a much better player when he's at second. As a utility guy, it probably doesn't matter as much from an offensive point of view. However, sticking him at third everyday when he was used to being the second baseman affected his offense. I like Kelly, but I can't say this trade would bother me that much. I like Bellhorn.
  11. Definitely off the juice, but a dangerous hitter nonetheless.
  12. Not a lot. Baseball: Wunsch Rowand Guillen Cora Baines Walker Buerhle Olivo Alomar Jr. Crede Football: Nitschke Payton Thomas Basketball: Pippen Paxson- this one is an 8x10 which is pretty cool because he's shooting a three with Skiles trying to block him.
  13. Betcha getting rid of AJ doesn't sound as good to them anymore.
  14. No he got squeezed on a couple.
  15. Konerko said in the Sun Times that it was a good idea, because they weren't paying any attention to him, and if he was gunned down, Rowand would have lead off the next inning. He also said that he probably should have done it in the past. I personally don't mind that aggressiveness, especially under the scenerio of them paying absolutely no attention to him, and a guy like Rowand set to lead off if it doesn't work out.
  16. That depends. I would rather have Ozzie.
  17. With Buerhle on the mound, you might be able to see the whole game during your lunch break, lol.
  18. Uribe will start Wednesday. Guillen didn't want Harris to go to Yankee stadium with taking that much time off from live pitching. Good logic to me, especially since he's been going well.
  19. 14. Richard Nanita, 22 – L/L – CF – Florida International University (Senior, Florida) Just before the beginning of the 2003 school year at FIU, Ricardo Nanita transferred from Chipola junior college, the same school Adam Loewen attended, to FIU in the hopes that he could propel himself into the draft. Nanita succeeded in his goal, mainly by leading Florida International in almost every offensive statistical category. The most impressive thing about Nanita though, is his plate discipline. Nanita walked 39 times in 196 at bats, which in-turn led to his .490 OBP. Drafting Nanita could turn out to be as big a steal for the Sox. Nanita has signed with the White Sox and is currently dominating at Great Falls ®.
  20. And his lawyer already is blaming the feds for singling Bonds out. Sounds like he knows what the test results will read.
  21. Supersteve, I enjoy reading your posts, but I want to see the ass when doing so.
  22. Not so good for Wednesday, but one out of two ain't bad. I just hope I'm not saying that about the results as well, lol.
