  1. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:30 PM) If they lose this series, I have to assume Spoelstra gets sh*tcanned. Has to. And then Pat Riley and Co. need to take a look in the mirror and fire themselves. You have to give them the Bosh injury. But they've done a piss-poor job of putting together a sufficient cast around their stars. Other than Chalmers, there isn't one player on this roster I would accept a free autograph from.
  2. Gotta give the Celtics credit. Seems like whenever KG starts a postseason healthy, they're almost unbeatable.
  3. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 10:13 PM) American Airlines Arena is so quiet. lol. It's always quiet.
  4. QUOTE (soxmaniac! @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 10:55 PM) CucHumber is gonna come up big tomorrow. I'm saying 7 innings 2 runs. You have got to be kidding me.
  5. I didn't think there was a chance in hell OKC could win this series after game 2. It's not over yet. But the Thunder are in good shape.
  6. Ibaka with two fouls in the first 44 seconds. That could be big.
  7. QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 08:00 PM) Oh poop on you... If Anthopolous would have drafted him you would have jizzed in your pants. Switch our top 4 pitching prospects with Toronto's and I promise you that wouldn't be the case.
  8. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 07:56 PM) I hope Giolito's arm falls off now. No wait.. I won't say that about the kid, but I can't stand the Nationals. ?
  9. Blah. Not a fan of another OF this early with the organization starving for SP.
  10. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 07:48 PM) If Lebron stays in Cleveland and wins 1 Championship people are saying hes the best ever. If he wins 1 in Miami, people are going to say "So what" Well, that's his fault. Nobody forced him to take his talents to South Beach.
  11. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 07:03 PM) Again: please. Stop assuming I'm calling Lebron a s***ty player. I'm taking the 2nd best player in the game over him if i'm starting a franchise. ZOMG! How terrible! Based off a fabricated myth.
  12. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 4, 2012 -> 05:00 PM) The Pistons weren't the 2012 Spurs. And how many times has he disappeared in the 4th quarter of important games? Not just had a bad game, but disappeared, refused to shoot the ball, refused to take big shots? How many times does he rely on chucking up 20 foot fall away jump shots that he misses more often than he makes. I said he was the best all around player in the game. I'd just take Durant at this point. He's stronger mentally, isn't a self-centered ass, and he's younger. Oh, and he can play basketball pretty good too. lmao. It's people like you that make me appreciate LeBron James so much more. So because those Pistons, as you say, aren't the 2012 Spurs, it's somehow less impressive. Guess what? LeBron didn't have Westbrook, Harden and Ibaka back in '07 when he was leading a severely under-manned Cavs team to the finals. LeBron is putting up numbers that rival any of Jordan's best playoff runs. And he's doing it with basically no help. Wade looks like '06 Wade for a couple games, then for others he looks old, broken down and tired. No Bosh for the last 2 rounds. Support players that you never know what you're going to get out of them. But wait, unless LeBron takes and make a game-winner (and he's done that plenty of times), he's no Durant. Please.
  13. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 3, 2012 -> 11:31 AM) If you think Gavin is the definition of a damn good quality starting pitcher you have a very inflated value for give away Gavin. Let someone else whether it be Boston or another sucker deal with the headcase. He would not be missed at all. Wow, an actual paragraph from soxfest?
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 2, 2012 -> 09:46 PM) What a show by Durant here. 22/25 from Perkins, Ibaka and Collison gave him the opportunity.
  15. Carlos Gonzalez was traded twice. I repeat: Carlos Gonzalez has been traded twice.
  16. QUOTE (Brian @ May 31, 2012 -> 08:11 PM) High five to him if he bed that chick. Shes pretty hot for a skanky porn star. You'd be surprised how easy it is to bang a porn star. Trust me. You don't have to be a millionaire or a son of one.
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 31, 2012 -> 05:31 PM) Marcus Jordan tweets a hookup message to a pornstar that seemingly should have been a direct message. lol. Like father, like son. MJ hooked up with multiple porn stars back in the day. There was just no twitter, facebook, cell phone cams, etc. to expose one.
  18. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 31, 2012 -> 09:56 AM) That's my whole point. They are replaying it everywhere nationally, to laugh AT him, not to show how good of an announcer he is. They kept replaying it on B & B, and I was laughing my ass off too because of how crazy & senile Hawk is. I know. But that was so damn epic. He's been here for 57234712374 years. May as well tolerate him. It's like Wite. You want him to vanish but he keeps coming back. At least Hawk will be dead soon.
  19. Anthony Davis and Eric Gordon is a sick two-some to build around.
  20. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 30, 2012 -> 03:56 PM) Hawk's rant after Q's ejection is reason #3,258 why the guy needs to go. What an embarassment. It's one thing to show passion, but that was just a joke. (Cue the "He's such a true Sox fan" arguments) Are you fo realz? I was LMAO!!!! That was one of those outbursts in which you're going to remember exactly where you were when you originally heard it.
  21. Thing is the Spurs are kinda beating the Thunder at their own game. The Thunder usually can overwhelm you with their athleticism, speed, etc. The Spurs have all that and are deeper. If the Spurs win game 3 a sweep, IMO, is imminent.
  22. I think it's time to acknowledge the possibility of SA sweeping the entire postseason. I ain't seen a run like this since the '01 Lakers. And even that run didn't start until, like, a week before the playoffs. SA has been blitzing everybody since March.
  23. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 29, 2012 -> 05:29 PM) May I reiterate. I loved him as a White Sox player, but f*** him. I have to agree with Q...Q here.
  24. QUOTE (ptatc @ May 28, 2012 -> 10:11 PM) I thought relievers were a dime a dozen and wouldn't count as impact players (not directed at you specifically J4L) They are for the most part. But Reed has a chance, and we've already seen a decent sample size, to be much better than an average reliever. He's got Kimbrel-like stuff. And he was a third round pick. That's a win. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 28, 2012 -> 10:18 PM) Did you seriously ask someone to "eradicate" your misspelling? Aww, J4L...I love you man... Yes. I'm forever trying to enhance my vo-cab-u-lary. I know I kinda forced that one. But oh well.
