This team has very little discipline. That won't change until there is a new manager at the helm. Also, the offense is pathetic! Looks like we will be sellers once again.

Most of us are on the same page with RV. He is NOT an MLB manager. JR loves him as a person so they took a chance on him. The fact that we are 4 years in and he is still this bad says something. JR is too loyal. He will not fire RV in the middle of the season (which is a mistake IMO). Gardy is available, Ron Washington is available. Hell, Ozzie Guillen is available. All three are waaaayy better than Robin!!!

This team has the talent but they look soo damn flat it's disgusting. If it's not Robin's fault, whose fault is it? IMO the team takes on the personality of their manager. Even Ed Farmer called out Robin during his radio broadcast. If Robin isn't on the hot seat now, he will be soon with this uninspirering play.

Flowers is bad and AJ is old. Unfortunately Hahn tried to upgrade the C position over the last few offseasons, but there really is not too many good catchers out there. At least for a reasonable price. On a side note, it's pretty cool that AJ and Buerhle can still play this game at an impressive level.

I'm calling it now. Robin and the Sox will "mutually part ways" after the 2015 season. They will do whatever it takes to make his departure classy. There is no chance he will get fired in the middle of the season. The Hawks were bold to do it to Savard, but they also had Quinville lined up waiting. I don't think the Sox are as bold and they most likely don't currently have a manager lined up to replace RV.

Fundamentally, this team has looked pretty poor. I usually never worry about pitching this early in the season but I do worry about all the baserunning blunders and subpar defense and lack of plate discipline by our hitters. To me, this poor play reflects on the manager. I could care less if he screams or not, this team lacks discipline and that is all on Robin.

I think its time to upgrade the Soxtalk banner. I think its appropriate that Abreu is on it, but not only did he win April rookie of the month last season, he won 2014 AL rookie of the year. I think it would also be cool to involve Shark and Sale and those K Zone signs that fans wave around after a strike out.

I was really impressed with Soto today. I thought his offensive approach was solid. Robertson was filthy, it was nice to finally see him in a save situation. I'm glad Shark settled down after a shaky start. Lets get closer to .500 with a win tomorrow. Thank goodness Sale is back!

I think its safe to say that we are all worried about Danks. He has become the blackhole of this rotation. Every time I see him pitching these days, he is getting rocked. Its difficult to go from a mid-high velocity guy to a converted junk ball pitcher. Some pitchers can do this successfully, but John is having a very difficult time adjusting. I hope he figures it out. If not, upper management NEEDS to figure something out. I do get it about their hands being tied with his $28 million owed over this year and next, but they can't keep sending him out there if he continues to perform poorly. My realistic prediction: He starts off the season going 1-6 and has a 5.56 ERA. The Sox will blame it on shoulder soreness and he will be put on the disabled list at some point, mid-May. This will be the green light to bring Rodon up for good. My hopeful prediction: He figures it out at the start of the season, proves many wrong. Goes 3-3 and keeps his ERA at a respectable 4.00 which is okay for a 4th/5th starter. At this point, we all know he will not be earning the value of his contract so we will take what we can get from the dude.

I'm not sure if there even is a way at this stage of the offseason, but I really wish they can upgrade the catcher position. Is there anything out there?
