  1. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 08:04 PM) Yes, they have different pictures on different pictures(parade, WS trophy, The Cell) and they dont look like the Ticketmaster tickets. The tickets are enough to become a season ticket holder this year. They're seriously awesome though.
  2. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 07:29 PM) 530, row 8. I'll give ya a call. I'm in 529. I'll be there at about 11 as well, Brian/Steve, one of you guys give me a call when you get there.
  3. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 07:25 PM) Nope, however the PR department with the white Sox has been working on making the upper deck experience as good. Ie having the same food items and trying to replicate the experience as much as possible. Boyer says this a lot when people ask him this exact question at the Sox Fest seminars. I also remember him saying they were going to try and create some things that are unique to the upper deck. Actually, Jason is wrong I believe. With a season ticket you can go down to the lower level just not with a regular UD ticket.
  4. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 07:41 PM) A fan just threw a syringe at Barry Bonds.
  5. QUOTE(G&T @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 07:57 AM) I'll never forget that grand slam by valentine. I don't.
  6. I agree with the whole article. Well done piece.
  7. QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 03:25 PM) Anyone else notice that Marte came in and gave up the go-ahead hit today? I'm shocked.
  8. QUOTE(Felix @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 02:30 PM) And gets an infield single to third in his second AB (it was tough play for Rolen, but he had it and made a horrible throw to first. Homefield advantage called it a hit though ) Does Rollins have a hit?
  9. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 07:43 PM) And when Abe said 'Lock him up and throw away the key", I don't think it was due to the fact that Liriano is an up-and-coming pitcher on the Twins. Nice angle, but I ain't buying that for a minute. IMO dude is just another hardcore conservative. I hope that I'm wrong, but I seriously doubt it.
  10. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 02:09 PM) Well then he's off to a s*** start, now isn't he? Ya he is, I was actually pretty disappointed with him yesterday. I expect 3 homers tomorrow.
  11. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 02:06 PM) You mean to tell me that Thome is not gonna hit 2 home runs every game? No, he's going to hit 2 homers a game.
  12. Mike Lowell looks like he's lost 100 pounds.
  13. QUOTE(Felix @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 01:39 PM) Rowand doubles in his first AB as a Phillie.
  14. QUOTE(SnB @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 01:27 PM) was the church parking lot open yesterday? That's the lot I always use. That's the way to go but that lot does fill up real quick.
  15. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 01:36 PM) Yep. Neither one needs to go. Our two best pitchers I'd say. And I would agree.
  16. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 01:34 PM) I'll take the innings argument, but he also only feasts off bad teams or low pressure situations. He almost always craps on himself in big games or against good teams. He's consistently good against bad teams, and he'll give us innings, but the other guys will do so as well. That 3.47 era in the playoffs last year was just horrendous.
  17. Getting rid of Buehrle or JC is just dumb imo.
  18. I'm not going to go nuts over Cliff's outing yesterday but I definitely think it's unrealistic to exect him to do what he did last year. I'm expecting him to put up around the numbers he did in 04.
  19. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 07:02 AM) B.A. is going to have alot of bumps during the season, but he is going to fine. I was VERY happy for him to have a good night. I agree. Brian is going to go through some growing pains but he's going to be just fine.
  20. To add on about Bmac, I think we saw just how important this guy can be for the team. He saved the pen last night and dominated while doing so. Last year this game would have absolutely tore up our pen right away, that wouldn't have been good. Bmac is going to be such an essential part to this team, it's such a luxury to have a guy like him in the pen.
  21. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 11:08 AM) I thought that was just his change being incredibly nasty when he threw it, but it could have been something new I guess. Ya, it's his change. It breaks straight down and away to lefties, it's nasty.
