QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 26, 2010 -> 08:42 PM) True. But he's still averaging 25/7/7 for a top 5 team in the league. Combine that with how bad the Cavs are and I think it just extrapolates his value that much more. If the Heat don't win the championship can we take the MVP away from him than?

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Dec 26, 2010 -> 02:25 AM) Rock, Haymarket FINALLY opened. Going to hit it up sometime this week. Let me know when.
-
QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Dec 25, 2010 -> 09:13 PM) The Chicago Bulls at 100% can give any team in the east a serious run for their money. ANY team. Yeup.
-
QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 26, 2010 -> 12:35 AM) . The Falcons are overrated. You keep saying this and you're just wrong imo. Certainly wouldn't be shocked if the Saints beat them because NO is still one of the better teams in football but so is Atlanta and they aren't overrated.
-
QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 22, 2010 -> 09:27 PM) Pierre is overrated. Who the heck is overrating Juan Pierre?

This seriously makes me feel old. Happy birthday, kid!

Anyone see Danny Woodhead trying to sell his own jersey in some sports store? Pretty funny.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 21, 2010 -> 03:12 PM) I remember this commercial, and I fully back your decision 100%. Anybody who watched that tournament will never be able to forget that commercial, this I can almost guarantee.

QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 20, 2010 -> 10:42 PM) I wonder if they'll rest Cutler next week. No. Still trying to lock up a bye week.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 20, 2010 -> 03:45 PM) I think my answer is...I trade him when either someone pays a ton for him, This. If someone wants to pay a kings ransom for him, than fine, if not than I'll gladly hold onto him until he tests the market.

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Dec 20, 2010 -> 06:44 PM) I was always an Italian Nightclub type of guy. ^ No onion no tomato for me. My freshman year of college, my credit card bill used to be pretty much nothing but Jimmy Johns, it was gross.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Dec 16, 2010 -> 04:20 AM) Going to try and watch as many movies as I can in the next month while I'm off school. Among the movies on my list: Spy Game One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest Dirty Harry The Curios Case of Benjamin Button Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid You Don't Know Jack Once Upon A Time In The West Hotel Rwanda 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea Spartacus Dog Day Afternoon Jonah Hex Fargo Unforgiven Blazing Saddles Requiem for a Dream Invictus The Town Kick Ass The Book of Eli I'll add Kick Ass to the list the others have put out there. Very fun movie.

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Dec 19, 2010 -> 11:45 PM) There wasn't anytime left on the clock, but he thought there was. I don't think he was being a douche I think he was trying to run all the time off the clock. If that was the case, which he stated it was, then it was a smart play. Normally I'd agree, but as has been stated, Desean has a reputation for this kind of crap, I personally don't think he gave a s*** about the clock(which was already at 00's for a few seconds) and he was just being a douche like usual.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Dec 19, 2010 -> 11:52 PM) Does this have anything to do with you sucking? Pretty much. On a much drunker note, Whirlyball + Open bar really was ridiculously awesome last night. And got my news years eve tickets for The Apartment/Lionshead as well(which I've never been to but heard is a great time), hooray fun.
-
QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Dec 19, 2010 -> 01:05 AM) Now this is ironic. I have no comeback whatsoever. Ouch.
-
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 18, 2010 -> 12:24 PM) Not really. He's due to be bad in year 1, which if he did the alternating good and bad, make him worth his paycheck 1 out of 3 seasons. Maybe the guy has figured something out. I sure hope so. This was the one guy I personally would have stayed away from this offseason. You pay him for 2010 which he was lights out for June, July and August. Just about unhittable. He wasn't very good the rest of the year, had shoulder surgery in 2007 and shoulder issues in 2009. At least its not an obnoxious number they are paying him. I mean, he's had 5 at least decent seasons out of 7, so I'm not really sure where you're getting this alternating between good and bad thing.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Dec 18, 2010 -> 02:41 AM) BBA in Economics says suck my dick Who the hell would give you a degree?
-
QUOTE (hitlesswonder @ Dec 18, 2010 -> 01:31 AM) I think that's overrating the Bulls, who are a lot loser to NYK and Atlanta than any of the 3 other teams you name. And even within those, I expect BOS-Magic would be a fun series to watch. But with Miller back, I think the Heat will destroy anyone they play in the playoffs. Reports of the Heat's demise were greatly exaggerated...they're still the most talented team in the NBA and maybe in NBA history. I think by the end of the season they will have proved that out barring injury. They absolutely were, just as reports now of the Heat walking through the playoffs are completely exaggerated. Look, I still think the Heat are the best team in the NBA but they're not walking through the other top teams in the NBA once the playoffs arrive, there are too many really good teams around for that to happen. And just because I like to say it, when/if the Bulls are fully healthy, they can compete with anyone this season.

Whirlyball and an open bar tomorrow night?!?!? Ya, that's what's up!

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 17, 2010 -> 09:52 PM) Mark! needs to stop doing incredible stuff. Every year he does something incredible the Twins win the division. This is a true story.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 17, 2010 -> 07:49 PM) Besides greg? Rowand's slash line the last three years: .257/.318/.405/.723. Declining defense across the board. 2004/2005 was a long time ago. Nobody misses Rowand outside of nostalgia sentiment. I certainly don't miss Rowand and I don't even really hate the Cubs that much but there's something about seeing ARow in a Cubs uni that would irk me a bit.

Kerry Wood signs 1 year, $1.5 million deal with Cubs

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 17, 2010 -> 02:19 PM) Do you mean his chokejob in game 7 against the Marlins? God that was such a wonderful night. I seriously might not be alive today had the Cubs won. Suicide was an option. Well not really. But you get the point. I will ALWAYS love those pesky '03 Marlins. Well, except for Juan Pierre. Hey, he hit a homerun that game! I actually just loved that Marlins team in general for some reason(looking back on it now, I have no f***in clue why) before they even met up with the Cubs. -
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 17, 2010 -> 09:37 AM) Brandon Roy is becoming increasingly frustrated and is now complaining publicly about playing next to Andre Miller. It sounds like he gave a "it's him or me" speech to the Blazers management a few weeks ago. We'll take him.

I love Bobby but I wish him nothing but the worst since he signed with Boston.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Dec 16, 2010 -> 03:03 PM) Ok, so because I was getting bored with P90X, I joined a gym that has alot of the same type workouts, but with changes and someone other than Tony leading them. Weeek 2 for me at this gym and feeling awesome and much more motivated than before!! My dad got me a gym membership for hannukah. If I could just cut the beer out of my diet I think I'd be exactly where I want to be within a month. That being said, that's not happening anytime soon and I'm still damn close, I'm at 185(with not a lot of body fat, not sure what exactly but I'm judging by abs showing and what not) and think I'll be at exactly my goal by spring break at the latest.
