I agree with SSH on this one. I really have no reason to think Redding will make the team, other than he can go a few innings and I have just had a feeling that he'd be on the team ever since we signed him.

I always wondered who the idiots were that actually believed the interviews were serious. Now, I'm kind of saddened to learn that our governor is one of them.

Man, would I love to be the person that catches the record-breaking homer. I would make Bonds pay through the nose to get that thing, and I wouldn't hesitate to auction it off if I couldn't get more out of him. I'd probably feel bad doing that to just about any other player, and end up giving them the ball for some kind of smaller gesture, but I wouldn't give two s***s about doing that to Bonds.

It's strange that there weren't any dentists in Prague that were good enough to work on his teeth, then the good dentist had to come from England. That's a little odd.

Why do some people want to see him break the record? I'm not trying to start an argument. I would just really like to know why someone would want a scumbag/racist/cheater to take the record away from a class act like Hank Aaron.

It's unfortunate that they aired this piece so early. It would be much better to do it on the 5 or 6 o'clock news.

Are there any other quality QB FA's this offseason? I really have no idea, but I imagine Brees would cost an arm and a leg if he were the only legitimately good QB on the market. Not sure if the Bears have the cap room or the desire to spend that money to go after him.

I seriously doubt he breaks it this year, but I bet he breaks it eventually. There's no way that one of the most selfish players in baseball will retire without the record. He'll get it, and it'll be a sad day in the history of baseball.

I don't like to say it, but the Cubs certainly can't be written off so quickly. That division is pretty much up for grabs. The Reds and Pirates will suck thoroughly. The Cardinals have gotten a bit weaker. The Astros have gotten a lot weaker. Then, the Brewers and Cubs have gotten better. The Sox were picked to finish 3rd or 4th last year, and we ended up winning a tougher division.

If you say that you believe Bonds didn't take steroids, you're probably lying.
