http://www.ktvu.com/news/18608582/detail.html#- A baby born with 12 perfect fingers and 12 perfect toes. So perfect that it wasnt noticed right away. Check out the pediatrician in the video, how would you like to see that guy walking in the room to check out your baby.
  2. QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 31, 2009 -> 03:03 AM) what did you learn about his attitude? He was always very humble and thankful to the White Sox organization, always promised to try and get better. I heard a few of his interviews on the Score(one that Mully played from the first ST he spent with the Sox, the other interview was something Rongey did IIRC), and he couldnt stop thanking the White Sox organization. I have yet to read anything detrimental about his attitude, and that stuff usually gets out much quicker than the good things
  3. QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Jan 31, 2009 -> 03:40 AM) You talk so much about music and seeing live bands and you don't like the Hangar at all? It's the best, actually the only real music venue in town. Where do you go to hear live music in Carbondale? LOL, i was thinking the same thing. I dont think its the ONLY music venue in town, but it definitely is worth checking out. I have seen some really good shows there
  4. QUOTE (Cubano @ Jan 30, 2009 -> 10:49 AM) I know rich people pay taxes. The government want their little fingers on everyting. However, many times rich people with business just pass the extra cost to the rest. How about tax shelters? Rich people know the system and get away with it. I work for Warren Buffet. He has said he pays less in taxes than his secretary. My point is that quite often, people with less rally themselves and blame others. I came here with nothing. I knew little English and that is a big disadvantage. I do not blame X or Y for this. That was the card handed to me. I was in the refugee camps where the terrorists are. I came with nothing. I got out of the boat with my wet shoes and threw them away in the Cayman Islands. That was my stupidity. I had to take a plane barefootted as a result. I learned my lesson and those months taught me a lot. As I said before, anybody can spend their money. I save mine. You listen to Obama and spend. I listen to myself and I save. you keep talking about people placing blame. Nobody has done that. your situation is unique to say the least, and to try and use it for a rule of thumb for everyone is frankly not realistic
  5. QUOTE (Soxy @ Jan 30, 2009 -> 10:05 AM) I work three jobs and cleared less than 20k last year. I paid income tax (I will get a small refund, but it is in no way the full amount of federal taxes I paid throughout the year), sales tax, school tax, property tax. You should work 4 jobs. You are obviously lazy.
  6. The planted kid during the little town meeting in front of Blago's house was pretty shameful.
  7. Viciendo is going to take the job. I think Ozzie already likes him a lot
  8. I heard about this through the lightning speed of facebook yesterday. HOLY SH**!!!!! Well maybe now they can redesign the inside so they can accompany more people instead of having the center bar in the way of everything.
  9. Helio Gracie dead at 95

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jan 29, 2009 -> 08:24 PM) It was a very good premise. And yes, the ending was good. It was very much the opposite of what you'd expect out of Hollywood. I guess Stephen King wrote the ending differently, but really liked the director's idea for the end. The Stephen King book didnt really have an end.

QUOTE (Disco72 @ Jan 29, 2009 -> 07:28 PM) That one is gonna be hard. I don't think there is a middle ground...either they nail it or it'll be awful. I think my main problem is I know the story now and it is boring now to see a remake. The story never changes, they just move things around and alter the setting and circumstances. Nothing will beat the original for me, I was completely naive to the story so it was good the first time. All of the sequels have been pretty brutal.

they are also looking to reboot The Crow, Predator, and also a prequel to The thing.
  13. LOL Awesome. The White Sox sweep out the Cubs from the Political landscape
  14. Rod will never serve in a public office in Illinois ever ever again. 59-0
  15. QUOTE (knightni @ Jan 29, 2009 -> 04:35 PM) So, it's not final? I saw on mlb network last night that it was. Cedeno and Garrett Olsen. Probably pending physicals
  16. Is everyone seeing a picture of trophies on ABC channel 7?
  17. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jan 29, 2009 -> 04:27 PM) The vote happened already? I'm watching something on CNN but I don't know what it is yet. 59-0 vote to impeach him. they are about to vote whether he should ever hold political office in Illinois again
  18. Wow, even Hendon didnt have his back. SLAUGHTER, shut out
  19. They can get Crede soon and start becoming the White Sox West
  20. Up until the game against the Dolphins the Bears looked like a juggernaut. Rex was flinging the ball all over the place and the defense was jsut scary. Brown and Harris went down and the teeth went out of the defense, Rex got shaken up vs the Dolphins and he was never the same
  21. http://blogs2.startribune.com/blogs/christ...-twins-on-hold/ Crede is frickin nuts if he thinks he is getting a better base salary then he did last year plus incentives
  22. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jan 29, 2009 -> 12:27 PM) What other splashes has Williams made this close to Soxfest other than bringing in Kenny Lofton? I'm talking like January 25th to February 15th, the time pitchers and catchers report, because I simply don't recall any moves he's made this late in the offseason. Given, he's never had the quality free agents this late in the offseason either, but that's beside the point. Werent AJ Pierzynski, Darin Erstad, Tadahito Iguchi all within that time period?
  23. QUOTE (shipps @ Jan 29, 2009 -> 01:33 PM) Sounds like a time for a suspension.........but who? Sounds like they need to have a Killzone2 duel to the death
  24. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jan 29, 2009 -> 01:14 PM) Killzone2 scores trickling in. 25. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 29, 2009 -> 01:05 PM) LOL. It seems like Murray has never used a computer in his life. The computer on his desk looks like it is straight from the 80's
